Author's POV

"Are you sure you'll be okay son?" His father asked him for the nth time.

Blue sighed and replied,
"Please Dad, you guys leave. You know you can't stay the night here. Besides the doctor said that only one person can stay in the room at night. We have been crowding them. All of you are tired. Go home and sleep. You all can come back tomorrow too, for now I'll stay the night."

Mrs. Relish came and put a hand over her husband's shoulder,
"Don't worry, he'll go and wash up tomorrow morning when we are here. Let's go. They need their time alone too." She said and he at last nodded.

Mr. Cullen walked upto Mike who was standing outside the door of Aiden and Aly's room. All of them were outside right now.

"Make sure not to let any one suspicious enter. Every doctor as well as nurse should be identified before entering the room, okay?" Mr. Cullen ordered Mike who nodded immediately with his head bowed.

"Yes Mr. Cullen."

"Good, then let's go home all of us." Mr. Cullen said nodding towards Mr. Relish and both of them held their wife's waist and pulled them away.

Blue looked at Mike and gave him a small smile,
"Did you have dinner Mike?" He asked Mike who nodded at his question.

"Yes Blue I did, thank you for asking." All of them had dinner together besides Mike so Blue was worried for him.

"Okay, I'll go in now. Good night." Blue said before moving to walk inside the room where both his mates were resting.

He yawned as the exhaustion was finally getting to him. He quickly pressed a soft kiss on both his mates' foreheads mumbling small,
"Get well soon." And then walked to the couch to get some rest.

He laid there on the couch for a while but the longer he stayed there the longer he realised that he ain't getting any sleep on that couch. He sighed looking at the beds of Aly and Aiden. They were sleeping so peacefully.

From the last few months the only good sleep he gets is with both of them, now how is he supposed to sleep on a couch.

He looked at Aly's bed and shivered as he saw all the tubes and syringes connected to her body, he didn't want to hurt her in any way so he chose not to go to Aly's bed.

Aiden's bed however was free of the tubes, he only had an oxygen mask on his face,
"I can work with that." He mumbled to himself before he tiptoed to the bed, looking outside the door as if worried he'll get caught.

Gently lifting the blanket over Aiden's body, he slipped himself in the small area on the bed, trying to make himself as small as possible so that he doesn't take up Aiden's space or disturb his sleep. Finally as Aiden's body smell entered his senses he closed his eyes and allowed himself to sleep.

The sun rays were the first thing that entered his vision as he opened his heavy eyelids.

He finally adjusted to the light and blinked his eyes to get a sense of the surroundings. He heard the beeping of the heart monitor as he finally realised where he was in.

He felt a heavy weight on the right side of his chest, he looked aside and a small smile bloomed on his face when he saw his cute little boyfriend sleeping peacefully on his chest.

He had minimal stinging pain in his left side but it was bearable. He caressed Blue's head and then removed the oxygen mask from his face.

Slowly getting up he moved into a seating position, the pain in his chest still there but somehow it wasn't as bad as it was before. He finally allowed his gaze to move around the room and that's when he saw the sight he was dreading.
