Chapter 78

Author's POV

"AL!" Blue yelled out when he saw the fake nurse pulled out the knife and pressed it over Aly's neck. His own breaths quickened and he felt that rush of panic and guilt all over his body again.

"This is gonna be fun." Aly said looking up at the nurse who was holding the knife.

"Shut up bitch!" The nurse said as she harshly held and pulled on Aly's arm to make her stand up who hissed but still stood up again.

Aly could see the looks on Blue and Aiden's faces. She absolutely hated those looks. They looked like death just ran over them. Both were frozen over their places.

"Now we're gonna walk out of this room and you're gonna let us!" The nurse said pulling Aly close to herself and pressing the knife harshly to her neck drawing blood.

Blue panicked as he heard that, she wants to take Aly away? What? No! He can't let her go away again. Not this time.

Aly who had had enough of this, turned around slightly not to let the knife hurt her and just as she held the arm of the nurse a loud voice boomed in the room.

BANG!

Blue as well as Aly's bodies flinched as the sound of the trigger going off entered their ears. Aly's eyes squeezed shut as the blood splashed all over her arm.

She opened her eyes to see Aiden there with a gun in his hand, aimed towards the nurse that was now laying on the ground.

A bullet hole right over her chest and blood constantly oozing out of it.

He was holding Aly's gun in his hands. Aiden had tears running down his pale face as well as Blue. All three of them stood frozen on their places, really having no clue what to do.

Aiden came out of his horrified mind as he heard Blue's little sniffs.

"MIKE!" He yelled out, his gun had a silencer so he figured that's why Mike hadn't come inside yet. But he was so fucking done, he didn't want to hear anything now.

Looking at Blue's terrified face and Aly's shocked face, he knew he was fucking done playing around. This time, whoever fucking tried to harm his family is now supposed to be dead.

That's it.

He will not fucking care now, even if he has to go on a killing spree.

Mike came rushing inside the room, his eyes widening as he saw the lady on the floor almost taking her last breaths.

He gulped as Aiden turned to look at him with his dark eyes holding nothing but fire in them.

"You're fired." He said looking dead into Mike's eyes who now realised what he had done, he without a word looked down and then nodded.

"What the fuck are you saying Aiden, No!" Aly said as she heard that. She couldn't believe what Aiden was doing. This was Mike, who had been working with them for almost 10 years now.

Aiden turned to look at her and Aly saw it, even though his eyes were glaring at her, his soul was begging to her, that please just fucking listen to him for once.

That he is at his limit, don't trigger him more.

With that she didn't say another word. Her gaze went towards Blue, who was still crying in his place, holding the hem of his hoodie from both sides and whole body trembling.

Aly picked up a wet towel and wiped away all the blood over her arm, even though she had to get herself cleaned up, she needed to tend to her boyfriend first.
