"Did you see this?" Blondie was speaking first, sounding only slightly curious.
"What?"
"My old journal; the one with all the pages I'd ripped out? I forgot to grab it, and I know she's seen it... it smells like her..." Now his voice was fearful.
"No way! Wasn't that originally Skylar's?" Jett made a little shuddering noise at the name.
Skylar? Who was Skylar?
"Um.... Yeah, it was." Blondie sounded stressed. "He's due for another visit... it's been awhile..."
"What about her?" Jett asked. I was almost certain he was referring to me.
"I'm trying to think of something that would work, that's been worrying me..."
No, definitely not me. He used the word worrying.
"You know what he would do... he lacks a sense of self control..." Jett pointed out.
"That's not the only thing I'm worried about him doing to her..."
It was my turn to shudder. This whole conversation put a sick feeling in my stomach.
"Don't worry, man. We'll figure something out." Jett's voice was reassuring.

I layed in the bed they'd given me. I had no sense of time, it was sickening to wonder how long I'd been away from home. Or where I even was now.
There was a slight clawing noise the door, like someone had accidentally slapped the knob. I sat up, confused.
The handle began to rattle. I pulled the blankets up some, fear pricking at my sides.
If they were trying to scare me, it was most certainly working. I felt my breath hitch, and get caught in my throat like a deadly suffocating lump.
It kept rattling, and after a few seconds I was sure that they were just scaring me. Playing jokes on their victim.
Boys.
But then my fears were amplified, tenfold, when the know began to make a sickening creaking noise. It began to turn further than the rotation would allow, before snapping off and falling on the floor. Light filled the room from the hole in the door.
I screamed.
Somebody swung the door open. It creaked before coming to a stop.
I felt compelled to run, freedom was sitting right in front of me. I knew it would be a huge mistake.
Someone entered the room.
"Hello, human." He smiled impishly at me.
