Matilda's POV
I wake early to my alarm, groaning at the thought of leaving my warm bed. I've spent the past two weeks planing up until right now with Eliza. Today is the day we head up coast of our little trip.
The plan is for everyone to be at Felix's at six in the morning ready to load his beach buggy or van thingy whatever it is. Once everything is ready we are going to head up the coast to a nice surfer town Called Pearl Beach.
There's eight of us going including me, Eliza, Felix, Mac, Ava, Jess, Ben and Will. We decided to invite Will even though he can't surf, we just thought it would be more interesting with him there.
Will and I will be driving in his car whilst the rest ride in Felix's van. The only thing that could make this better was if Justin was here. Damn it! I'm trying to forget about him during our time away.
I turn my alarm off and head to the bathroom. Maybe a nice hot shower will wake me up at bit.
After my shower I'm feeling a lot more alive than I was ten minutes ago. I wrap my towel around my body and make my way back to my room.
I search through the remaining items still left in my draw. There's not a lot to choose from since I packed most my clothes.
I finally decided on my short denim shorts that have rips along the pockets. I haven't worn them in ages which is odd because I actually really like them. They come with a really cool black belt that has silver and gold metal plates on it and they also have a chain kinda thing attacked to the stitching kind of making it look like a necklace, but on my leg.
I match the shorts with a white top that has a carved out pattern and shows a small bit of my belly. I put on my coin necklace from Holiday and my gray and black floppy hat.
Once I've done with the rest of my morning routine I head over to Eliza's where we them drive to Felix's together.
After waiting for Will to arrive for a half hour his red jeep finally comes into view.
"You look cute babe" I says to me as he walks over from his car.
"Thanks babes" I laugh as he wraps me up into a hug.
Everyone stares at us like we've said something wrong. We both turn to our friends saying 'what' at the same time and then crack up laughing again.
"You guys are so weird" Jess laughs
"We are a bit, aren't we" Will says as he wraps an arm around my shoulder.
I wouldn't call us weird, we're just really close. If someone who didn't know us was to see how we reacted around each other then they would probably think we are some mushy couple.
"Anyway shall we get going?" I ask and everyone nods then piles into the van leaving just Will and myself.
I turn to him with a wicked grin on my face causing him to raise his eyebrows in worry.
"Can I please drive?" I ask him. I really want to drive. I fricken love his jeep.
"Tilda you're only on your L's and I'm not an adult" he reminds me
"So I can just change the plates to the P's and no one will know!" I suggest. I don't really know what's come over me like it's totally illegal and if I get caught i'm stuffed, but Will brings out my reckless side.
"Feeling a bit badass today are we?" He smirks and holds his keys out to me.
I let out a squeal as I take them from his hand before throwing myself at him.
