Matilda's POV
The days being to fall in a routine, waking up at half past six each morning changing into my bikinis and meeting Justin down the beach. We've started to hang out every day starting with surfing then going back to his place.
On the fourth day of my new holiday routine I decide to wear my plain dark ocean blue triangle bikini, I wear a different one every day. My collection of bikinis is overly huge! I head to the kitchen whilst pushing my tangled hair into a bun on the top of my head. I make a coffee and hurry out the house to meet Justin.
"Hey Tilda" he smiles as I approach him.
"Morning" I reply taking another sip of my coffee as we start to walk towards the beach.
The weather was amazing today although I was scared to take on the huge waves I wasn't going to let Justin see me as weak. The surf died down which was a sign to head into sore where Justin awaits me. He stand and hands me my towel before I can even get a word out.
"You got out early was the waves to big for you chicken" I tease
"Tease me all you want, you really should compete in the comp"
"Ugh, no way I'm not good enough and my mother will flip!" It's true she hates that I surf she wants me to be all proper with an amazing job with good pay but I don't want that for myself.
"Matilda you would crush those girls out there and trust me I watch every year I know there skills and your better than them"
"I'm really not very good I just don't see what why you think I am"
"You just don't believe in yourself" maybe I don't because surfing is only entertainment.
"I'm not competing end of story" I reply hoping he will drop it
"Maybe your the chicken one" he laughs and digs is elbow into my ribs making me join in with his laughter.
"If you compete I will train you"
"You really would?" I ask to be sure he isn't joking
"Yeah for sure it will be fun!" I sigh
"Your not going to drop this will you?"
"Nope"
"Fine I will compete then!" I decide.
I'm then caught off guard by Justin's hands around my waist.
"Yay! This is going to be fun!" He basically yells as he lifts me off the sand into a hug spinning me around.
When I get home I don't plan on telling my mother because I know she won't be happy, sometimes things are better left as a secrete. When we reach the drive way of my house I turn to say goodbye to Justin
"hey, hang out with me later?"
"yeah alright" I reply thinking what else am I going to do around here? The silence grows as I search through my thoughts, it starts the feel uncomfortable as I can only break the it
"I will just have a shower and get ready, met you here at 10?"
"sounds good, see ya then" he turns and I watch him walk back towards the grand house across the street.
After getting out the shower I get dressed into my denim high top shorts and I plan white T-Shirt, I add my silver watch to my plan outfit a reach for my phone.
I dial Eliza's number and she picks up on the second ring
"Hey Eliza I have news to tell you"
"Really go on tell me"
"Okay you know that guy I was telling you about that I go surfing with?"
"Yeah?"
"Well she's coaching me for the RoxyPro comp!"
"Wow that great! I can't wait to get down there, one more week and we will be together again"
"It's going to be fantastic, look I gotta go but I will call you later"
"Okay talk later, bye"
And with one press of a button I put my phone in my pocket and walk to the edge of the road were I'm meted by Justin.
"So where are we going?" I ask as me continue to walk, Justin has a skate board in his hand so probably the skate park.
"Well I want to teach you to skate, and I also though we could get an ice cream for Coconut Haven. Man I love that shop.
"Sounds good but just for the heads up I'm going to suck on that skate board" I laugh.
We continue the half hour walk into town. The walk is beautiful, you walk down long beach until you reach the end where the rocky edge is built. There's a park that you walk up to get on top of the cliffs, you then walk along the cliffs before you reach another small track which takes you to a bridge wedged between town rock wall. If you turn to the right you look way out to sea and if you look to the left its like an inlet, I tiny new beach with sand banks either side of the water which is place in the middle. We you step off the bridge the track continues to swerve up the cliffs, the walk is beautiful looking over the cliffs into the sparkling blue water. The track stops and opens into a road. The is a massive hill that takes steals your breath each time you walk up it.
"Hey!!!" I yell at Justin as I notice him skating down the hill.
"Hurry up, you walk so slow" he yells back at me from the bottom of the hill. I run down the hill and meeting him at the bottom. He has a huge smirk plastered on his face, smart ass.
The rest of the walk consists of working your way through the back street of Hartton Bay until you find the Main Street.
Sorry this chapter is short and took so long for me to update. I'm going away today so I thought I better update before I go that is why it's so short and bad. If there's any spelling, gramma etc errors it's because I have gone back and re read if so I'm sorry. Enjoy and I will try to update as soon as possible.
