Matilda's POV
When I walked in the house I knew I had to tell my mum as soon as possible. The sooner I tell her the more likely I can talk her into the sponsorship before tomorrow's photoshoot. I honestly don't know what I would do if she says no.
I mean she probably will so no but I can beat on my life my dad can talk her round.
I search the house sticking my head in ever room failing to find her. At last I walk towards Hamish's room, I can already hear they are playing video games.
"Hey Its not letting me shoot anything anymore!" I heard Jodie wine.
I've played my fair share of video games in my life time that hearing Jodie being so clueless makes me laugh.
"Babe that's because you got killed" Hamish explained
I open the door to see Hamish and Jodie sitting on beanbags do exactly what I assumed they were.
"Oh hey Tilds"
"Hey Hamish, where's mum and dad?" I asked
"They went to drop Pixie off at her friends then to do some shopping they should be back soon why?"
Realising that she would be back soon made me nervous, I had no idea how to tell her. I knew Hamish had picked up on my nerves.
"Wow Matilda what's wrong?" He asked
"Um Jodie can I talk to you in private?" I asked
Sometimes I don't feel like telling everything to my brother it just feels weird taking about my feeling and stuff with him like we usually just play ping pong or video game we never get into the sappy side.
"Yeah sure" and with that Jodie got up and walk out the room entering mine.
Jodie sat down on the edge of my bed whilst I perched myself on my dressing table.
I looks down at Jodie and tell her everything that happened down the beach up until i found out Eliza and Justin knew each other.
"Wow Tildas that amazing! I'm so proud of you" Jodie tells me with a massive smile plastered on her face
"Yeah but I don't know if I'm ready like I'm still in school and I want to finish and go to university but I want this life too in just confused....and what's my mum going to say when she finds out?" I feel really insecure about this.
10 minutes ago I was bouncing off the walls over the whole idea of everything but now I'm not so sure like what happens if I travel doing photoshoots and not in school and then the whole this falls apart what will I do?
"Matilda you're thinking to much. Girl listen to me. This could be the start if your career, this could make you big. You've got a sponsorship like hello you're going to make it big. You can just pass the opportunity it's a once in a life time deal. If you don't take it you will reget it later" this is why I love Jodie she always says the right things, I hope Hamish is good to her because she's a keeper.
"So you think I should do it?" I ask one last time
"Yes Tilds I do and think about how much fan to and Eliza will have together!" That's it I'm going to do it
"Oh man...how am I going to tell my mum? I need parental permission" I say as my head falls into my hands.
"Honey you just have to tell her, just come right out and say it I know your dad will support you he will make your mum see the light"
I jump off my dresser and hug Jodie
"Thankyou so much Jodie I don't know what I would do without you" I mumble as we hug
