Song: Shout It Out - Reece Mastin

Matilda's POV
Justin and I sat under the tree for what seemed like a long time but really was only an hour before he's phone went off.

"Who is it?" I ask as he was staring at the screen.

"It's Mac asking if we are ready he will be here in a couple minutes to pick us and Eliza up"

"Well I guess I better go get Eliza then" and with that I hopped up and walked to her door.

I knocked on her big wooden door three times before I heard Eliza's voice

"JUST A MINUTE!" She yelled, I knew already that she wasn't ready to leave yet.

"LIZE IT'S ME" I yelled back

"OH MATILDA COME IN"

I opened the door and walked to her bedroom where I found Eliza frantically unpacking her clothes as she only got here early today.

"Um Eliza we are about to leave what are you doing?" I asked

"Well my mum said I can't go out unless my clothes are in my draws"

I just stood there and watched as she worked like a mad women.

"Well don't just stand there, help me!"

Between the two if us it only took a few minutes.

We left the house and walked out the front where we found Ava, Mac and Justin siting waiting in a yellow jeep.

"FINALLY!" Justin yelled

"Nice to see you both again" Mac greeted us

"Hey guys" Eliza spoke as I just smiled.

The trip to the beach only took a few minutes as we only lived a block away.

When we got there we parked the jeep in the car park and got out.

Eliza immediately ran over to a group if two girls and two girls giving each one a hug.

I slowly followed the others over to the group.

"Hey guys this is my friend Matilda I hope you don't mind she's joining us." Justin introduced me

"I'm Allie, this is Ben, Felix and Jess" a pale, blue eyed blonde girls spoke up

"Hi, nice to met you all" I replied as I smiled.

We walked along the beach everyone talking away. All these new people were really nice especially Allie. It just felt right with them like it wasn't awkward at all.

These are the type of people I want to be around. They were outgoing and fun, just what I needed in my life right now.

We walked a fair way down the beach as it was quite crowded. Once we found a spot where there was no cars or people we placed all our stuff on the sand and striped off our clothes and went into the water.

The waves had died down since mine and Eliza's surf earlier that day so the water was almost flat.

Justin pulled out a frisbee and we all had fun throwing it around.

The beach was fun it made my mood change completely for once I felt like a normal teenager. Hanging out with friends having a good time. It felt good.

We stayed at the beach for a long time, 4 - 5 hours I don't know but I was happy Justin invited me along.

We just began walking back along the beach heading for the cars when I remembered what awaited me at home.
