Matilda's POV
School. The one thing every teenager despises more than their annoying parents. Tomorrow is my first day at Bells High School and let's just say I'm not looking forward to it.

I stumble out of bed and exit the room trying carefully not to wake the others. I walk down into the kitchen and grab a glass of water.

It's still dark outside, but it's light enough to see the beach. I watch in awe as the waves build up then curve over perfectly before crashing into the water.

"Couldn't sleep?" Justin's voice startles me from behind. I was preoccupied watching the waves that I didn't hear him come up behind me. I slowly nod in agreement.

"Wanna go for surf? The sun should be rising any minute now" he asks and I through him a glare. As if he's even asking, when don't I want to surf?

By the time we get ready, the sun as risen a tiny bit making it easier to see. The morning air is reasonably warn considering its summer.

The surf is amazing. The waves are perfect, you couldn't get any better. In the water I realised just how much I was craving this.

"Shit Justin we have school!" I yell. I can't believe I forgot! I was stressing all night and now I totally forgot.

We quickly stumble out of the ocean and run back up to the house. When we enter everyone is ready for school waiting for us in the kitchen.

"Hurry up you two, you have ten minutes to get ready" Scott tells us "actually five I need to talk to you all before you leave."

I race up the stairs to my room. Although I would love a shower right now I don't have the time. When I reach my room my school uniform has been laid out on my bed.

I quickly slip on the maroon skirt that reaches mid thigh. The skirt kind of reminds me of the one the Scottish wear when playing the bag pipes, but a slightly different colour and much shorter. I pull on the pale blue collared T-shirt. It's almost to small. If I lift my arms it will show my stomach, but I guess it will have to do.

I add my sliver necklace, which has a surf board pendant attached and slip my watch onto my wrist. I spray loads of perfume trying to get rid of the salty ocean smell.

I attempt to get a brush through my wet hair. I give it a quick and basic brush before slipping on my white converse and heading down stairs.

"Great everyone's ready" Scott says "okay so I just wanted to let you all know that your first training starts today after school. I'll explain more later. We have to leave, everyone get into the van!"

We all grab our bags and run out the door. The drive to school only takes a few minutes. We all pile out.

"You guys should be fine to walk home. Have a good day, I'll see you all later" Scott says before driving off.

We all look at each other before entering the gates of our new school. Since non of us know what we're doing we walk up to the front desk.

"You must be the Academy kids" the lady says and we all nod. "Welcome to Bells High, you're all completing your last year of school correct?" We all nod once again "okay, um..." She scans the room looking at the passing students "ah Daniella and Luke!" She calls and two students turn and walk towards us.

The girl, Daniella is beautiful. Her wavy blonde hair falls mid way down her back. She has blue-green eyes which remind me of the ocean and when she smiles her teeth are perfectly straight and extremely white. Her eyebrows are neat, not one hair out of place and her makeup is just the right amount. As for Luke, his dirty brown hair is styled perfectly to fall down both sides of his face, again, not one hair out of place. His eyes are the same ocean like colour as Daniella's. He's very tall with broad shoulders, he seems buff.
