Matilda's POV
"Tilda.... Tilda," I groan as someone shakes me out of my blissful sleep. "Are you coming to school?" Milly asks when I finally open my eyes and I nod, "well come on you better get ready," she says and I jump out of bed and head down stairs.
"Sleeping beauty has awoken!" Kai smirks as I enter the kitchen in my pyjama's and bed hair.
"Shut up," I groan and make my way over to the coffee machine. I make my mornings caffeine fix then plonk down beside Justin on one of the stalls.
"Morning everyone!" Scott's voice calls from the top of the stair, I spin on the stall so I'm facing him. "Just letting you know we'll skip training today, but we'll be doing a surfing session this afternoon," he explains then leaves.
I quickly get ready for school then the four of us walk out onto the beach. Vicky, obviously isn't going to be at school today and lucky Blair gets to stay with her.
We walk to school together and are soon greeted by Riley. He runs over to us and flings his arms around Milly and I making us both giggle.
"Hey ladies!" He says and we say hello. I suddenly remember my conversation, or shall I say argument I had with Justin yesterday.
"Riley this is our friends Justin and Kai," I say and he shakes both their hands.
"So you are the lucky guys who get to live with these beautiful women for a year," Riley winks and Milly and I laugh again, the boys simply nod. "Hey where's Vicky?" He finally asks.
"I was waiting for you I realise!" I laugh, "uh it's kinda a long story, but she's fine," I tell him and he nods.

School flies by and before I know it, the lunch bell goes. I walk out of English quickly, Riley following.
"So are you sitting with me again today?" He asks and we walk towards our lockers.
"Um I think I might hang out with Justin and Kai today," I tell him. I don't want to make the boys feel left out.
"Oh okay, I'll see you later then," he smiles and walks away. I'm about to close my locker when someone slams it shut. I look up to see one of Ella's followers blocking my way.
"Mahalia isn't it?" She asks.
"Uh it's Matilda," I correct her and she fakes a smile.
"Isn't that what I said?" she smiles and I sigh.
"Why are you talking to me?" I ask and fold my arms across my chest.
"It's only the second day and you act as if you own the place," she snaps.
"Funny, I could say the same about you and your friends," I smile and I hear the people around me snicker.
"I don't know what it is, but every year you academy kids act like you're better than all of us when re.." She says harshly, but all of a sudden stops when Milly reaches me side. "Well, well, well if it isn't slut number two," she smirks.
"You know what?" Milly snaps "I've tried to ignore you and your friends, but you've really pushed it to far. What have we ever done to you?"
"Ella said tha.." She tries to say.
"No! Enough with 'Ella this, Ella that', what have we done to you?" She asks again and she says nothing. "Exactly, now have you ever moved schools before?" Milly asks and she shakes her head "yeah then you don't know how hard it is and your pathetic bullying is just the cherry on top," Milly says.
