Mukuro had won.

At least... that's what it seemed like.

We ran into the room, seeing Katou Julie face down on the ground, unconscious. Mukuro was standing right next to him, trident in hand, a small smile on his face from his victory. I spotted Mukurowl hovering a few feet above, landing on Mukuro's outstretched arm.

"Mukuro!" Tsuna shouted once we entered the room. "You're possessing Chrome's body, right?"

"One brilliant Mafioso after another..." Mukuro muttered under his breath. He glanced at me when the others were freaking out over Julie's unconscious figure. I gave him a small smile and a nod and he returned the gesture; although his smile was more of a smirk.

"It would seem as though we've won the battle of the guardians," Reborn stated.

"Of course."

"Wait... does that mean... Daemon Spade... was defeated?"

Mukuro chuckled. "Kufufufu, that shouldn't be surprising. As my enemy, I couldn't allow him to remain in this world."

Yamamoto chuckled. "You took care of him for us pretty easily."

"Amazing..." Tsuna muttered. "As I thought, you're incredibly powerful...!"

"I was just getting into the fight and then it was over... pretty anticlimactic." Reborn jokingly sighed.

I felt Kyoya shift beside me and didn't flinch when I saw his tonfa fly past my face. Mukuro blocked the tonfa with his trident and the tonfa spun on the floor back toward us.

Kyoya crossed his arms. "I was considering biting you to death... but now that you've expended all that energy fighting, it wouldn't even be a challenge."

"Hibari-san!!" Tsuna shrieked. "Is there no one he doesn't pick a fight with?!"

Mukuro chuckled. "Kufufu... Hibari Kyoya; I'll be your opponent any time you like."

Kyoya frowned. "Your reaction time is down, if we fought now, it wouldn't be any fun."

Mukuro smirked. "In that case, I'll accept your offer and take some time to rest. Until the day comes when I take your body... I leave Chrome to you, Sawada Tsunayoshi. You as well, Fujimiya Satsuki; take care of Chrome for me."

"Of course, I will, you idiot," I said, putting my hands on my hips. "I would've done it without you asking."

Mukuro smiled, his eyes closing. "Well then..."

He fell forward, mist flames emanating his body, the figure changing back to Chrome. Mukurowl flapped its wings, claws reaching for Chrome but it wasn't fast enough.

Reborn kicked Tsuna's back, causing him to fall forward and land in front of Chrome right before she was about to hit the floor. Enma made his way to Julie, kneeling next to him.

"You didn't need to be so rough..." I sighed, putting a hand to my temple. Kyoya put a hand on my shoulder, looking at me with concerned eyes.

"Are you okay?" He softly asked.

I looked at Chrome and Tsuna talk, softly nodding. "I think so. There's just a dull throbbing in my head right now. I don't think that's a good sign."

He hummed, sliding his hand down from my shoulder to my hand, bringing it up to his lips, and looking into my eyes. "Let me know if you need anything."

I looked at him, my heart swelling. I smiled, leaning forward and pressing my lips to the hand holding mine. "I will."

"Mukurowl?!" Tsuna shouted, taking the two of us away from our moment. We looked up at the owl, seeing it moving a little differently; its eyes were also different.
