5. Chrome

The next morning, school went on as normal. Committee duties were excused again today since Hibari was still training with Dino, so I went shopping again after school got out. There were some things that I was missing when Yuujin and I went shopping a couple of days ago so I went down to the market to grab them.

I spot a little candy shop and walk over, thinking of getting some for Yuujin. I just finished paying for some candy when I heard two familiar voices.

"Let's go get some candy, Kaki-pii!"

"So troublesome..."

I turn around and connect eyes with Kakimoto Chikusa and Joushima Ken. I quickly glance around to see if I could meet Chrome as well, but she wasn't with them.

I had missed Yamamoto's match against Squalo last night since I was at the hospital and had to take care of Yuujin after I was discharged. He was absent during school and I was guessing he was getting patched up. Tsuna and the rest of his guardians were absent today too. I turn my attention to the hill to my right before turning it back to the two Kokuyo students.

They ignored me. They've never seen me before, so I was of no matter to them.

Ken squatted down to see some of the candy. "Hya~~ this one looks delicious!"

"Didn't we just buy some?"

"The gum was fruity so I ate them all."

"Then let's just buy a box." I watch as Ken grabs a box of strawberry flavored gum and hands it to the woman. She recites their total and packs the box into a plastic bag.

"Would you like a receipt?"

"A receipt is fine... so troublesome." Chikusa sighed.

"Ehhhh?! Wha-" I jump at the voice and turn, seeing Tsuna panicking at the presence of the two Kokuyo students. "Wait... Fujimiya-san?!"

Ken stood up. "You're making the same dumb face as always."

Tsuna shrieked and fainted at the sight of Ken. I chuckled as Ken started lightly kicking him with no intention to seriously hurt the other.

A sudden weight appeared on my shoulder and Leon crawled up my head and lay down at the top. "Ciaossu, it's been a while, Kakimoto Chikusa, Joushima Ken."

"You're here, Arcobaleno home tutor!" Ken said, coming up to us. "Who the hell is this?"

"A classmate of Tsuna's." Reborn explained. "Anyways, where the other one? Tsuna's Mist Guardian?"

"...That person went to see Hibari Kyoya."

"Oh? If Hibari finds out, there will be trouble."

"I don't think Hibari will notice." I say, slightly turning my head to the infant.

"What makes you so sure?"

He didn't notice my lack of honorifics. I shrug, a smug smile on my face. "Shouldn't we get Tsuna-kun somewhere more comfortable?"

"Ah, right. Satsuki, you carry him."

"Eh? Why me?"

"If feel like these two will break him in half if they touch him." I sigh and comply, dragging Tsuna to a nearby bench with difficulty.

"Don't think of us like that!" Ken shouted.

"You give the impression of being a simple pair of nasty students." Reborn commented as I sat down next to the unconscious Tsuna. Somehow with all my movement, Reborn didn't move an inch. Surely he would've probably tipped over a bit but no, it was like he was glued to my shoulder. A little uneasy, I move him to my lap.
