I could see the joy on Dad's face as I was given my CEDEF identification tag. There was a small ceremony at the Japan branch in Iemitsu's office with the agents standing in a line behind Iemitsu. I got to meet them one by one after the small speech Iemitsu gave.

I finally met Lal Mirch in her baby form. She was as small as Reborn; the frown on her face didn't suit her, but I could somehow see some fondness in her expression when she shook my hand.

"Lal will be the one to help train you in anything you need help with concerning rain and cloud flames."

"I recall from my memories of the future that she learns quickly, so I don't think it'll take long to teach her what I know," says Lal, nodding at me with a small smile.

Basil had a big smile on his face when I went to talk to him.

"Satsuki-dono!" He beamed. "Welcome to the CEDEF!" I had heard from Master that you are Nao-dono's daughter, but it had slipped my mind because of our state of affairs!"

"It's alright," I smile. "I didn't know that Dad was with the CEDEF until after the big ring battle between Xanxus and Tsuna."

"So you decided to be acquainted with the infamous mafia yourself? Quite a huge life decision for someone your age," Oregano put in.

"My daughter had to mature at an early age because of me," said Dad, ruffling my hair. "She's matured so much that it sometimes feels like she's older than me."

I laugh, hard. They look at me in confusion but I wave a hand.

"That... Imagining that is funny," I giggle. "I guess I just have an old soul."

"It's admirable," Turmeric nodded, raising his wine glass a little.

"Thank you... I'm glad to be a part of the team."

That same day, Dad took me to see the Ninth. We arrived at the hotel, and judging by the presence of Reborn and faces of the Ninth and his guardians, they had just finished talking to Tsuna.

"I hope we didn't intrude on your conversation," said Dad as he bowed. "I didn't realize that Reborn-san would be here."

"Naoki-kun, good to see you," Timoteo smiled, his gaze turning to me. "Satsuki-san, we meet again."

"Ninth," I bowed deeply. "We officially meet; I'm glad you're doing well."

"Tsuna was just here," Reborn announced as Dad and I took a seat. "I assume you knew about it."

"I knew it was going to happen soon, I just didn't think it was going to be today," I give him a wry smile.

Dad and the Ninth shared a confused look. I give them a smile and lean back a little, feeling comfortable.

"I requested you here today just to meet the daughter that Nao-kun was so proud of," Ninth smiled. "I thought you looked familiar when we first met each other at the cloud ring battle."

"I wanted to officially introduce myself to you as well, Nono; as well as explain a few things."

"Oh?"

"It's... something important..." I glance at Reborn, who nodded. "Tsuna already knows about this... and I thought it would be good to tell you and Dad at the same time..."

"Satsu?" Dad leaned over, looking at me with a worried expression.

"After I tell you this, I will no longer be keeping any secrets from everyone in this room since all my secrets will be out in the open," I take a deep breath and start explaining my past as well as my knowledge.
