It's been a few years since the start of this, and to be honest, I really thought I would be done by now, but ever since I got this office job back in February 2022, and then promoted to manager in October 2023, it's been soooo busy for me with the new tasks and responsibilities. I've been slowly working on my stories and writing every once in a while, even if it is a few sentences. So I'm sorry for the huge delay in between chapters. It will be a while until I get the next chapter out hehe...
I never really thought that this story would reach 100k reads. Even with my hiatus and slow updates, Satsuki's story is still reaching out, which I'm really grateful for.
Since it will be a while until we reach the end, I thought I would at least let everyone know what my plans are for the rest of the story. I probably told you all what my plan was in an author's note in a past chapter, but I don't remember lol.
I haven't planned out how many chapters there will be left, I don't like to plan it out like that, as I imagine each scenario and interaction as I write (I used to plan my stories back in high school but not anymore, as I don't have time to anymore).
But this is the gist of it:
- A Short Intermission Arc, where Satsuki reveals some secrets to the team, a childhood friend of Satsuki's is introduced, and Satsu runs into old friends. Satsuki's childhood friend was introduced in the side story "For Another World". I was going to add him into the main story, but kind of introduce him again there, as I know that no one really looks at the side story.
- Curse of the Rainbow Arc: The end of the intermission arc (I'm thinking of a better name for it haha) will act as a transition to the Curse of the Rainbow Arc, where there will be the final battle as well as the end of the KHR series. I want characters to level up and I want drama to happen. I haven't thought about how I want the entirety of Curse of the Rainbow Arc to go and how I want my characters to level up - I might end up actually planning this out to try and make it as seamless as possible and not seem clunky, but who knows lol.
I'm not sure if I want there to be an arc after the main story is finished. I might have an epilogue but any after-story after the epilogue will be added into For Another World.
