Hibari looked to his left, seeing Satsuki breathing deeply, asleep. He let a smile grow on his lips and he lifted an arm, reaching over to rest a hand on her cheek. She snuggled closer, sighing a bit. Hibari's hand moved down to rest on her waist and he closed his eyes as well, savoring the moment.

An hour later, a knock sounded on the door, making his eyes snap open. He sat up and looked at the door, seeing it open to reveal Kusakabe. Kusakabe's eyes briefly glanced at Satsuki's sleeping figure before gesturing to Hibari to talk inside. Hibari lifted his gakuran off his shoulders and lay it on top of Satsuki before walking to Kusakabe.

He didn't go in the hallway but was a safe speaking distance from Kusakabe.

"Sawada and the others are moving towards the forest west of town." Kusakabe announced. "We should move tomorrow at dawn. Dino-san suggested staying in the infirmary to patch our wounds and rest up."

Hibari nodded and turned back to Satsuki, picking her up bridal style and following Kusakabe inside the building to the infirmary. Satsuki didn't wake and Hibari was glad. Even he was feeling just a little embarrassed from the confession a few hours ago. As he lay her on the bed and got caught up in his thoughts, he realized how much of his thoughts were occupied with Satsuki. With the realization, he got the sudden itch to fight. He turned to the Bronco but saw Romario patching him up. Kusakabe was standing guard outside so Hibari was stuck sitting in a chair, shaking his leg impatiently.

He ended up dozing off and jolted awake when he heard the door open and close. Looking around the room, Hibari saw that Dino and Romario had left the room. He paid it no attention until he heard muffled talking in the hallway. He glanced at Satsuki who was still sleeping on the infirmary bed and got up from his chair, walking to the door and cracking it open to hear what was being said from outside.

Dino looked at his cellphone and selected a name to call. His back was turned to the infirmary a few feet away and he pressed the phone to his ear, waiting for the call to connect. When the call connected, Dino smiled a little in relief.

"How's everything going on your end?"

The voice on the other side of the line sounded a little breathless, like they were just running.

"We're managing so far," they reported. "Z has succeeded in his job. L and S have been working on holding the enemy forces back long enough for plans to follow through properly."

Dino nodded to Romario and Kusakabe who both let out a small sigh of relief. Hibari wondered who Dino was talking to but decided it wasn't any of his immediate concern and closed the door, walking back to the chair.

The eavesdropping went unnoticed and Dino continued his conversation with the person on the phone.

"What about Nao-san?"

"Dad is at the safe house with the Sawada's. Nothing has changed about their situation."

Their conversation paused. Dino could hear the question before it was spoken and chuckled.

"Are you worried about her?"

"Of course I am," they huffed. "She is my sister, after all."

"She's fine, Yuu," Dino reassured. "She's with Kyoya right now; they're getting some rest."

Yuujin sighed in relief and closed his eyes for a few seconds, letting himself calm down. "Thanks, Dino-nii."

"Anytime."

Someone came up to Yuujin and muttered a few words. He nodded and turned back to his phone.

"We'll be on the jet to Japan in a few hours. We'll be watching over the Varia."
