Epilogue

The year was 2060. This day marked five years since the pair of friends accepted the mission that lead them into the arms of their soulmates. It had proven to be the best five years of their lives. As with all couples they had their ups and downs, but at the end of the day they still knew they were each other's whole world, and the ups grately outweighed their downs. In fact most of the downs happened when they went on risky missions or they disagreed about something. But they adored each other. In fact nowadays, Nadia, Claire and Roxeanne were all glowing pregnant women. Nadia was smiling as she sat with Roxy, Claire, Marissa, Eli and Alec. The females were watching as their mates tussled with the children they already had. Nadia and Blaze had a beautiful daughter, Roxy and Archer had two beautiful girls only a year apart. Claire and Blade were graced with two twin boys that were chaos incarnate. They also had their adopted son Sineală, or more easily addressed as Shark. Shark, however, was eighteen now by human standards. He was away on his Chiva currently. Archer currently had his two girls clinging to him and braiding his tendrils as they giggled. Roxy couldn't help but laugh when they tied it together with pink bows. Soon Noian and the queen joined them as well. The queen held onto the hands of two children, while Noian carried a baby and once again the queen was pregnant. The humans determined they'd never see her not pregnant. The baby Noian carried was actually a little girl. It was obvious she was daddy's little princess, and destined to be a daddy's girl. It was honestly adorable. The queen let go of the boys and they joined the other children, and by extension their big brothers. Life was truly perfect, and they could not ask for more. The queen took a seat with the humans. "Are we ever going to get to see your hot body when you're not pregnant?" Roxy questioned as she laughed. The queen tilted her head. "Well, to be honest my mate is just very good in the mating chamber." She dead panned. The humans all laughed. She was without a doubt their favorite. Roxeanne loved her beyond words. "So you chose to be his life mate because he's good in the mating chambers?" Roxy snorted. The queen tilted her head. "I mean he is also a very fine specimen of a male don't you think? The mating chamber was a surprising bonus." She said bluntly and Roxy grinned. They had such a weird way of calling things hot or sexy. "You know humans just call fine specimens a hot babe." Nadia added. The queen tilted her head again. "Mate." She called and Noian looked over. "You are a very hot babe." She said. Noian looked confused. "Babe... Like a child?" He questioned. The humans burst into laughter. Noian lifted his wrist gauntlet typing into it. The humans just laughed more. Noian quickly closed the device when he was getting images of "hot babes." But he understood the message. Archer, Blade and Blaze all had amused gleams in their eyes. It was obvious Noian and the queen loved each other, they just didn't know the word for it.

The large and happy family stayed in the garden for quite a few hours until all the children began curling up and falling asleep with each other. The Yautja males helped their mates to their feet. Then they went to the pile of children. Blaze carried their daughter, Archer carried both daughters, and Blade carried their twins. Noian meanwhile carried their sons while the queen carried their baby girl. The couples all tucked their children in for the night after they returned to their rooms. Once their daughter was settled in, Nadia went to Blaze and wrapped her arms around his waist. He held onto her. "You know Big Guy, 5 years ago today was what gave me the chance to be where I am now with you." Nadia said. Blaze hugged her. "I really can't believe what my life has become. It's so perfect it almost doesn't feel real." Blaze just gently took her hand and placed it on his chest in response. When Nadia felt his heart beat she smiled and she kissed him and he kissed her too. Archer and Roxy were currently bathing together after putting their girls to bed. Roxy cupped his ass. Archer glanced over his shoulder at her. "After 5 years this is still plump and one of your best features." She grinned. Archer snorted. "You're ridiculous. It has only been five years. If I already lost some appeal there's a problem." he retorted. Roxy rolled her eyes. He turned around to face her. "You know, you Big Bastard... You complete me." She said. A smile danced in Archer's eyes. "Probably not as much as you complete me, mate. I'm positive I liked you first." He admitted. Roxy raised an eyebrow. "Impossible." Archer scoffed. "You think I give my blood to just anyone? Not to mention we almost procreated in a cave." He replied bluntly. Roxy stared at him like "really?" Archer got a mischievous gleam. "Archer. Just. Say. Fucked!" she groaned in exasperation. Archer laughed and Roxy smacked him, only making him laugh more. The pair then hugged each other, and Archer kissed Roxy. Blade was currently staring out the view screen into space. Claire walked up behind him sliding her hand up his back. He looked at her as he trilled, his eyes of course lighting up. Claire smiled as she tenderly caressed his cheek. "I love you, sweet Seară." She said softly. Blade signed, "I love you." before he cooed at her and he nuzzled her. She softly giggled and she hugged him. She began playing music on her wrist device. Blade chuffed hearing the music. Claire smiled brighter. The first song was "I wanna grow old with you." She began to dance with him as she sang along to the next song which was "Can't help falling in love." The pair swayed together as they embraced. Claire's arms were wrapped around his waist, but she moved them up to wrap around his neck, and she was laying her head against his chest. Blade had one arm around her waist with his hand resting on the center of her back, while his other hand was tangled in the red curls on the back of her head. The final song that played was "I love you more than yesterday."
