"..and the dinosaur and the pokemon got married and lived happily ever after!"

Sevi and Lucas and their new friend Bella clapped their hands in unison as Jennie finally finished her storytelling for the day. It's been three weeks since Lisa resumed work at the hospital
and Jennie carried on with her habit of visiting the kids every Thursdays.

Amy, Alice' mother, watched them
fondly from where she was seated
and even though deep inside she was crying a little because her currently unconscious daughter could not hear Jennie's story as she usually does, she made an effort to smile kindly at the beautiful wedding planner.

"Alice, you need to wake up soon,
baby. Sevi and Lucas will be ring
bearer and bible bearer to your
Dada and I's wedding, and you and
Bella will be our flower girls. Hurry
up and heal, Alice" Jennie whispered to the sleeping little girl who just got out fresh from yet another MRI scan yesterday.

Amy's heart clenched with intense
gratitude and she couldn't help but
hold Jennie's hand firmly before she left the room, so she can look her in the eye and tell her:

"Thank you for always making the kids happy, Jennie."

Jennie found Lisa standing alone on the empty hallway leading to the hospital nursery. From afar she already recognized the exquisite shape of her back and her shoulders. Like a delightful replay of their first meeting, she ran after her and stole a quick kiss on her lips. Lisa was startled from her deep thoughts and was caught unaware by Jennie's surprise
but she pulled her in into a big hug and gave her a kiss on the forehead as a reply. They shifted both of their gazes towards the glass wall overlooking the nursery.

"How are you, love?" She asked her.

"I'm excited to be your wife, how about you?"

"I'm excited to make babies with you."

They laughed as Jennie playfully
smacked her on the arm.

"I can drive you home. I still have half an hour to my break anyway."

"I'll just get a cab on my way back"

"Lisa, there's seven weeks left before I officially become Mrs. Manoban, right?"

"Seven weeks. that's too long, Jennie."

"You said you could wait for me your whole life?"

"I mean it. You're all I want, love."

"You're all I want too. but I will be clingy when you are completely mine."

"I'm all yours from the very first time already, Jennie"

"Nope. I don't have your surname yet."

"Jennie Kim Manoban, I am all yours."

"That sounds so good"

"And it sounds so right, love."

"Okay, that's it for today. Let's flirt again tomorrow, shall we?"

"Yes, baby. Take care of going home. Let's lunch together tomorrow okay?"

"Okay, Dr. Manoban."

"I love you, Jennie."

"I love you, Lisa. See you soon."

Nine hours later, Dr. Wendy Son's
hands would tremble as she knocked on the door to her best friend's consultation room to bring her the news. Lisa would wonder why there were streaks and splotches of red, almost-vermillion shade on Wendy's white coat, and it would take a few seconds before she would realize that these are splashes of blood. Dr. Wendy Son would try very hard to be calm for the sake of her friend, but her voice will break anyway as she tells her that three patients were just brought in to the Emergency room due to a ghastly road accident: a pilot named Daniel Kang,
a teacher named Joy Park,
and a Wedding Planner named Jennie Kim. All three were in extremely critical condition.

Tomorrow afternoon, only one of
them would remain alive.
