It didnt take long to reach the suburbs but then again we were swimming at high speed. Which for us was just swimming. We tried our best to be unnoticed. Especially since Dylan had wings. We hadn't done a very good job of that while getting here.

We met outcast criminals, some perverts that again tried to kill Dylan and take me. Dylan ended up during them off and once had to hide me in his wings. That as you can probably tell was awkward. A whole new level of awkward I didn't think was possible.

"If we want to go unnoticed you need to say a spell," Dylan informed me.

"What's the spell."

"Repeat after me. I come to be unseen. A mystery the eyes cannot see."

"I come to be unseen. A mystery the eyes cannot see."

"A form a transparency, of things I touch will be of the unknown."

"A form of transparency, of things I touch will be of the unknown." As I spike the last line Dylan wrapped his hand around my wrist and be vanished. I could still see him but when I looked at my other arm it was gone. "It worked."

"Yup. It will last for about an half hour. That should be more than enough time to get to the palace." Dylan started to swim away while still holding my wrist. I was frozen in place. Keeping him from going anywhere. "What's wrong?"

"I, Im going to see my family. Its been five years. I'm not sure if I'm ready to see then again. How much has changed. I'm afraid they've just forgotten about me." I said starring off into space. Or welk underwater I guess its water.

"I kbpniw for certain they didn't forget about you. Yes they have changed but that's natural. But they haven't forgotten about you. You'll see." He reassured me. I started to start swimming with torward my family. My palace.

The suburbs as well as rural houses and towns were beautiful. Not beautiful green grass and flowers it was brethtaking. The houses were built like those on land looked quite similar too. Almost evey house had underwater corals or flowers swaying in the currents. Whther it was just a little coral by the door or an entire blissful garden.

There was green grass in every houses yard and being underwater in flourished. I saw mers talking and walking their pet dugongs in the years mowing the grass. Others were borrowing then from others.

Everyone I saw was quite freindly with each other and rarely did I see someone who wasn't as kind. The suburbs where very similar to rural with the houses with the yards and exteriors. People all had different colored tails. No two tails were the same. None were like mine however. Other than that they looked like people on land.

As we reached to city there were skyscrapers and everything's like the modern cities of today. However, there were more crimes and just bad people in general. It wasn't as bad as like cities on land. It was as if criminals are either sent to jail or sent out as outcasts. Crime rates from where I could tell were like 2%. Everyone was still kind was like an enormous community. Whatever my family was doing with laws and everything, they were doing something right.

As we swam building started to look more ancient and just I thought they couldn't get anymore delightful the buildings themselves started having incricate designs in the walls and architectured more beautifully. Huge colorful gardens of corals where planted as well as they where in every other part except larger. They climbed the side of some buildings. Many of the people there wore more formal type things, we were getting closer to the heart of the city. The palace.

Women wore flowy dresses ,flowy shirts which are just simply shorter than the dresses, or shirts that didnt extend over there tails like those of peopke walking on land. Men wore either no shirt, sashes or vests.

I realized I was still wearing my white to dark blue ombre shirt. It was a poofy crop top so it floated I. The water. It was still spotless. Thank unicorns. It was as if the water and my magic kept it clean.

I felt a bit exposed becaused realized it was kinda low cut and my large chest didn't help. Once we reached the ancient houses you could easily see the palace. You could see it where the suburbs met the urban area.

It was grand. It was surrounded by colorful fish, grace full jellyfich and other creatures with a courtyard with a gigantic glowing light blue tree in the middle. The castle seemed to almost reach above the water.

Dylan stopped at the doors of the palace to a mire its beauty. "Isn't this place beautiful?"

"I can't believe this whole place I am a princess of. Its . . breathtaking."

"Are you ready to see your family? The spell will were off soon."

I took a deep breath. "I'm ready. They're gonna be on the other side of these enormous doors?"

"Yep. In that message I sent Emily included telling the her to contact my grandpa and to tell him that we'd be going home. And that he'd understand."

"To contact your grandma and tell my parents we were coming?"

"To tell them the that you are coming. They're waiting for you."

"Let's go in." I smiled. I knocked on the I don't know how tall doors. They instantly opened. And there they were.
