I think life is funny. How we are such unprivileged people in a world full of opportunity. How you can be the richest person in the world and feel as if you have nothing. Or how you can be the poorest and have everything.

Over the years I have watched people. I have watched their logic and their manner of reason and how there are people who posses great kindness in life and are content. But I have also watched people who are not content. Who constantly want something, something more.

It is not necessarily a specific object they "need" however it may be, until they acquire it and there is a new "need" in its place.

I don't think we really need all that much.

Yes the main building blocks to our life itself but those things in themselves will do little on their own. Because yes you will live but why live when you have no life in your living?

I think that you need a little more ingredients into the batch like optimism and trust. Because I don't know what I believe in, but that feeling of having hope and being optimistic and dreaming, that feeling is something to believe in. And call it what you want but I think it's hope and faith. And I think those are something needed in order to have life.

And I think it's funny how that isn't what most people say when they think of things they need. Really need.

They don't say faith, they say water. Well yes, but that is materialistic.

We live in a world where having materialistic things is more important then abstract things, then feelings, then living. That's not okay.

It's funny how people discriminate against other people when they are the same. We have to same heart, brain, body, and we all have souls. So why is it different between a girl and a guy? Between a woman and a man? Between 'gays' or 'lesbians'? Between 'white' or 'black'? Between 'rich' or 'poor'? Or even between religion? We are the same in the end. We came into this world the same. And while we are here we do our best to play the cards given, and we try to find something, someone, to believe in. And as for the end, we will leave in the same fashion for the most part as well.

I think that this kind of humor isn't good. It's humorous in a dry humor kind of way. In a sarcastic way. But it is not funny. Why would choosing materialistic things be funny?

I don't think people understand the importance of other people. I don't think that they understand that our world is fragile and so are we, humans. We break easily because there are weapons made stronger than us and other people use those weapons in order to break us down. Sometimes for vengeance, but others for the simplistic reason that they want to see us break and crack and shatter because it makes them feel good. They get their high from knowing that they have the power to create pain upon another person and to know that they cannot be hurt anymore, because they have the upper hand, because they are now doing the hurting.

I think the quote "You never know what you have until it's gone." has fault. I think everybody knows what they have, they just don't think they'll lose it.

I think that for this reason people need to open their eyes to the dark humor around us. The people we love and care for can and will be taken from us. It is only a circumstance of time. People need to understand that time will not wait for anybody.

Time and death seem to coincide as both are inevitable.

And neither will stop.

And they will work together to take the only thing that matter most in the world, that should matter most in the world. The people that surround us day and night and never leave the ones who hold love and care within themselves for you, those are the things time and death will take.

Once time and death take these things from you, you will have wounds that might not ever completely heal, but in turn there will be other things that come into your life to help to seal that scar. It depends on your mentality and whether or not you want to heal though. If you are scared to forget what has been taken and you continue to reopen your scar while it tries to heal, you are damning yourself. That fault can only lie on you and only you can change it. If you are scared of letting memory slip away then maybe you are holding to tight. The memories worth remembering will stay, and if not the vivid pictures the feelings will, the feelings of happiness and hope and laughter and all things bright you will remember. You will remember the memories worth remembering.

The best things are not seen but felt after all.
