Chapter 26

Soda's POV

Today's Tuesday July 24th. Am so glad I finally get to go back to work! It's really exciting for me. Am sitting at the counter waiting for customers to walk in. I might go see Jasmine after am done with work. I wish she wasn't at the hospital right now. She doesn't deserve to be there. I think the doctor said that she's able to leave on August 1st. I can't wait for that day. I should pan something for us to do that day. I miss her so much. I wish she was here working with me today. Just then some customers came in. Am just glad my first customers after I was able to go back to work wasn't Socs. I wonder if any Socs well come in today. I decided to take a 30 minute lunch break at 12:30. About 10 minutes after I was done with my lunch break,some customers came rushing in. I looked up and I realized that it was Randy and his gang. "Hey Randy. Are you alright?" I asked. "Soda I need to tell you something" said Randy. "What is it?" I asked. "I found out who got you in a car accident and it was on purpose. It was a Soc. His name is Jim Hood. I over heard him saying that he did it so you wouldn't find Jasmine the day you got in a car accident" said Randy. "Oh I didn't realize that someone heard me. Nice to see you Randy. Although you shouldn't give information to people that's not meant to be told" someone said. Am assuming that person is Jim. "Actually that information was meant to be told. You shouldn't have said anything" said Randy.  "Actually it wasn't and sense when did you become friends with greasers?" Jim asked. "Sense none of you business" said Randy. "I believe it is my business now" Jim said sternly. "Look Jim I forgive you for what you did. Just stay away from my girlfriend and we won't have a problem" I said. Jim looked help at me. "Oh well I might just touch her. After all,we already know each other" said Jim. "You won't touch her!" I said almost yelling. "Watch me" said Jim. Just then a lady came in and walked over to the counter. "Hi mam. What can I do for you today?" I asked cheerfully. "Are you Sodapop Curtis?" the lady asked. "Yeah? Who are you?" I asked. "Oh am your girlfriends mom" the lady said. "Oh nice to meet you" I said. "Nice to meet you to" the lady said. "Anyways do you need anything?" I asked. "Oh yeah I forgot. I was gonna buy something" the woman said. She put the stuff on the counter then paid for them. She smiled at me. "You seem really nice. I think your perfect for my daughter. I get why she'd choose you" the lady said. "Yeah am really glad she choose me. My life got better because of her" I said. Her smile got bigger. She turned around and said "Oh hey Randy. Nice to see you again" "Nice to see you to" said Randy. "Wait you guys know each other?" I asked. "Yeah we met at the hospital" Randy said. "Well it's cool that you already know each other" I said. I heard the bell on the door ring and I saw some man with Johnny's parents. They walked over. "Okay all of you leave please" I said. "Not happening. I think we want to stay here" Johnny's dad said. "Yeah we don't mind stay" Johnny's mom said. "Why are you?" I asked the other man. "Am Jasmine's dad. Let's just say am starting to hate her" the other man said. "John just leave" Jasmine's mom said. "Yeah am not leaving Mary. Your the one who needs to leave a long with the other Socs who are here right now" John said. "Just leave! All of you!" Mary yelled. "Shut up!" John said. "Am kicking you guys out. You guys don't have the right to act like that. I already hate Johnny's parents and now Jasmine's dad. All three of you need to leave now" I said.  "Not happening pretty boy" Jasmine's dad said. "Okay please don't call me that" I said. "I heard your Jasmine's boyfriend" her dad said. "Yeah I am" I said. "Well you guys shouldn't be together" her dad said. I glared at him. "Last warning. Leave before it's too late. I ban you for entering the DX" I said. I saw her dad pull out a gun and point it at me. "I suggest you shut up and listen to me unless you wanna get shot" her dad said. I turned the alarm on then they ran away. "Am so sorry about that" her mom said. "It's okay really" I said. She smiled. "Too bad I might mess with Jasmine" Jim mumbled. Her mom looked at him. "You better not mess with her or hurt her" her mom said. With that she left. "Yeah you better not hurt her" I said. Jim smirked then left. I looked at Randy and he had a worried look on his face. I swear if Jim hurts her he's gonna regret it.

Jasmine's POV

I just woke up from my nap that I took. I heard the door open and I saw Jim and his gang standing there. He locked the door then walked over to me. "Hey Jasmine. Nice to see you" said Jim. "Leave me alone Jim" I said. "Oh am afraid I can't do that" said Jim. "And why is that?" I asked. "Cause I wanna talk to you" said Jim.
