Chapter 40

Darry POV

I can't believe Johnny's in the hospital! I wonder which Socs did that to him! As soon as I figure that out,am going to beat those Socs up pretty badly. Me and the gang along with Kate and Jasmine are heading to the hospital right now. I asked for Johnny's room number and we all went over to Johnny's room and stood near him. I can't believe this is happening to Johnny now. First Jasmine then Kate now Johnny. What next? None of them deserve it. Well no body else deserves it either. I just wish all of this would just stop. I wish the Socs would just stay on their side of town.

Jasmine's POV

I can't believe Johnny got hurt by Socs!! I keep wondering if I know the Socs who did this to him. If I find out who beat him up,I'll hurt them and if I know them,their beating we be so much worse. I hope their ready for what's going to happen. They shouldn't have done that. After about two hours Johnny woke up. "Hey Johnny. How are you feeling?" I asked. "Am feeling okay. I have a little headache but it isn't bad" said Johnny. "Well am glad your feeling better" I said. "What Socs hurt you?" Pony asked. "It doesn't matter" said Johnny. "Well those Socs are getting beat up when I find out who did that to you" said Dally. "Am sure most of us well hurt them" said Darry. "No don't. If you think about,if we do the same,were no better then they are" said Johnny. He has a point there. I still want to figure out who did this to him though. I might still fight them but I don't know. "We're a gang. We gotta do something?" said Pony. "It's not necessary Pone" said Johnny. "They shouldn't have done anything to you though" said Steve. "I know but it doesn't mean that we have to fight him to. It'll only make things worse. Maybe one of you we'll be in hospital and I don't want you guys hurt" and Johnny. "We could teach them a lesson" said Two-Bit. "That's not going to help" said Johnny. "As long as your okay that's all that matters" said Kate. "Yeah am okay" said Johnny. "That's good to hear" said Kate. Johnny nodded then looked at me. "Guys can I talk to Jasmine alone please?" Johnny asked. Everyone nodded then left us alone. I looked at Johnny. Johnny looked at me. "Ryan and his gang jumped me and beat me up" said Johnny. "Oh no. This is all my fault. I shouldn't have ran away" I said. "It's not your fault. You did the right thing" said Johnny. "Maybe if I didn't run away you wouldn't be in the hospital right now" I said. "Please don't blame yourself for this. I didn't have to walk alone. It was my fault" said Johnny. I started to cry then left the room and walked outside the hospital. I need to clear my mind. I can't believe all this happened. I can't believe Ryan did this. This is all my fault. "Why me! Why do I always have to make things worse!" I said out loud. "Hey don't balme yourself for what happened to Johnny" someone said. I looked up to see Bob.
