Chapter 51

Jasmine's POV

Today's Sunday September 1st. Today's the rumble! I can't believe it! It really came by fast. It's 8pm right now and it starts at 8:30. We only have 30 minutes to get ready and get to the lot. I hope everyone is ready. I keep wondering what's gonna happen. I decided to wear baggy jeans,a black short sleeved shirt,and white converse. I didn't wanna wear anything too fancy sense your clothes usually get dirty in a rumble. I did push-ups for ten minutes then did jumping jacks for five minutes and planks for five minutes. I went into the living room and saw the gang all at the house. "I hope you guys are all ready for tonight" I said. "Oh we are" said Darry. "We can win this guy's!" Soda shouted. "Just do your best and everything well be fine" said Darry. "We have to win this fight" said Pony. "We got this guy's. We can't let the other team win" said Johnny. "We've been preparing for this for awhile. Let's show them we can win" said Steve. "That's right! We'll win this!" Two-Bit shouted. "Let's show them that greasers can win. We'll do this for each other. Especially for Jasmine." Dallas said. "We've got this!" Kate shouted. "Guys,promise me that no matter what happens,you guys take care of each other and don't me sad if am no longer with you guys" I said. "It won't get to that. They won't win" said Pony. "If they do win and they don't let me see you guys, promise me those things" I said. "But Jasmine,we wouldn't be the same without you" said Soda. "Just promise me" I said. "Okay,we promise" said Soda. "Yeah,we promise" said Darry. "Thank you. Now we have a rumble to get to!" I shouted. The gang started cheering then we started running to the lot. Tim Shepherd's gang was here. Just then the Socs started walking over here. I saw Jack among them. We he saw me he grinned at me. We all walked closer to him. I was on one side of Darry and Pony was on the other said. Darry wanted Pony to stay close to him. I saw the Paul was among the Socs to. I wonder if all the Socs that are here we're in the rumble two years ago. "You guys ready to lose?" Paul asked. "The question is,are you guys ready to lose?" Darry asked. "Am sorry to say this but I think you guys are loosing today" said Paul. "Am sorry to break this too you but I think you'll be loosing" said Darry. "Let the best team win Darrel" said Paul. "Let the best team win Paul" said Darry. "Hey greasers. Nice for you guys to show up. If you guys don't know who I am,my name's Jack. Your probably wondering what the catch is if we win. If you guys win,then I'll leave you guys alone. But if we win however,Jasmine never gets to see you greasers again outside of school. She'll be living on the West side of side with me at my house. The greasers gasped. I walked closer to Jack. "No matter what happens,I don't want you messing with my friends" I said. "You got yourself a deal Jasmine" said Jack. I turned to look at the greasers. "You guys got this! Do your best! It's fine if you guys don't win! Just know that I care about each and everyone of you! I love you all!"I shouted. All the greasers who came were clapping. "We got this guy's!" Darry shouted. Jack grabbed my arm and took me over to a tree. He sat me down on the ground. "Stay here or else our deal we made won't be happening" said Jack. "Fine" I said. "You'll be mine cause us Socs are gonna win this fight this time" said Jack. "We'll see about that" I said. "The greasers don't stand a chance. When we win,you never get to see your greaser friends or your boyfriend again" said Jack. "But Jack,Soda's my boyfriend. You can't just stop us from seeing each other" I said. He grabbed my jaw. "I can and I well. There's nothing you can do about it. Jack ran back to the fight. A Soc punched Steve in the face then the fight started. After about 30 minutes,the Socs started cheering which meant that the greasers lost. Oh no. Now I have to go with Jack. At least the greasers tried there best. Jack ran over to me and dragged me back to everyone else. He made sure Soda was looking at us then kissed me on the lips. I pushed him away. I ran to Soda and kissed him. I heard Jack smirk while I ran to Soda. "Am gonna miss you guys. Stay safe" I said. I hugged all of my friends. "Stay Gold guys. Stay Gold" I said. I saw that they were crying. I started crying to. I was really gonna miss them. Jack grabbed my arms and held them behind my back then we started heading to his car.

Darry's POV

After a Soc punched Steve in the face,we rumble started. Paul tried to punch me in the face but I grabbed his fist then punched him in the face with my other hand. We were fighting for awhile. I kicked Paul to the ground then tried to find Pony and Johnny. I realized that Dally was helping them. I ran over to Kate and it looked like she needed help. I ran over and tackled the Soc to the ground. I started beating him up. After about fives minutes I got off him. I heard someone cheering. I looked up to see that the Socs wer cheering which meant that they won. I can't believe we lost. This can't be happening. Jasmine has to be with the Socs and she never gets to see us again. Jack brought her over to us. Jack made sure Soda was looking and he kissed Jasmine on the lips. Soda was about to run over to them but I held him back. Jasmine pushed Jack away then ran over to us. "Am gonna miss you guys. Stay safe" said Jasmine. She hugged all of us. "Stay Gold guys. Stay Gold" Jasmine said. Me and the gang started crying and Jasmine was to. I was really gonna miss her and am sure the rest of the gang was to. I looked at Kate and she looked the most upset. I get why. Jasmine is her sister. Kate tried running over to Jasmine but Johnny stopped her. Jack grabbed her arms and held them behind her back then started taking her to his Mustang. He better not hurt her.
