Chapter 18

Soda's POV

I think I made up my mind. I think am gonna go to that address and see if Jasmine is there. It's nighttime right now. I ran to my car and got in. I start driving over there as fast as I could without going past the speed limit. I was almost on the west side of town when I got hit from behind. My car was spinning and it went upside down and everything went black. When I woke up I was at a hospital. I looked around and no one was in the room. I was so confused by how I got here. I heard the door open and I saw a doctor. "Hey doc,how did I end up here?" I asked. "Oh hey. Am glad your awake. You got into a car accident" the doctor said. "Oh. I wonder how that happened" I said. "Well once you remember,tell me" the doctor said. "Okay" I said. "Also I called whoever was on your contact list so they should be here soon" the doctor said. "Okay. Thanks for letting me know" I said. The doctor smiled then left the room. I actually forgot why was on my contact list. Wait....I....I think I remember what I was doing before I got in a car accident. I think I was driving to the west side to....to go see if Jasmine was at the address! I hope she's okay wherever she is! I can't stop thinking about her. My girlfriend could be in trouble and I feel like I could do more.

Jasmine's POV

It's about 6am right now so it's the next day. I was at the table cause I couldn't sleep. Jay was awake to. I just got a call from an unknown call and I answered it. It was the doctor. "Hello?" "Hi is this Jasmine Jewels?" the doctor asked. "Yes?" "Soda was in a car accident and you were on his emergency contacts so that's why am calling you. I hope you can make it to the hospital" the doctor said. "Oh yeah I'll be there soon. Bye". He then hanged up. I started crying then I got up and got dressed then ran to the front door to put on my shoes. I was just about to leave the house when Jay went in front of me. "Where do you think your goin?" Jay asked. "None of your business" I said. "Then your not leaving the house" said Jay. "Fine. Am going to the hospital because Soda got into a car accident" I said. "Fine then let me take ya" said Jay. "Oh heck no. I can walk" I said. I pushed past him and started walking down the driveway. I felt him grab me then put me in his car. He drove away seconds later. I wasn't happy that he was taking me. I put on my seatbelt. When we got to the hospital,I got out and ran inside before Jay could say anything. I asked where Sodapop Curtis was then walked quickly to his room. When I got in,Darry and Pony was there. I ran to Soda's side. "Soda are you okay?" I asked out of breath. "Yeah am fine" said Soda. "That's good" I said. "The question is,are you okay?" Soda asked. I looked up at him. "Um yeah of course am okay. Why wouldn't I be?" I asked. "Well because you just disappeared" said Soda. I was about to say something when the rest of the gang walked in along with Kate. I sighed in relief. Am so glad there here. "Hey Soda. Did you happen to see what the car looked like?" Dallas asked. "Well no and either way I wouldn't tell you cause I wouldn't want to going after that person just because the person crashed into me" said Soda. "Well why were you driving late at night?" Johnny asked. Soda glanced at me. "I don't know. I can't really remember" said Soda. I knew he was lying by the way he looked at me. I wonder why he was out late. I hope it wasn't because he was looking for me. If it was true,I'd feel guilty for that. "Hey Jasmine,could I talk to you for a moment with Kate and Dallas?" Johnny asked. I looked at the three of them. "Sure I guess" I said. I walked out with the three of them. "Jasmine what's going on?" Johnny asked. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Where have you been all this time?" Johnny asked. "Oh yeah. I forgot to tell you that I was spending time with my parents in this world" I lied. I put on a fake smile. I looked at Dallas and it didn't look like he was buying it. "Jasmine,we're worried about you. We don't want you hurt" said Kate. "Am fine really" I said. "If you say so" said Kate. "Hey guys,do you mind if I talk to Jasmine alone?" Dallas asked. They nodded then went back inside the room. I looked at Dallas. He was crossing his arms. "What's really going on?" Dallas asked. "Nothing really" I lied. "Jasmine I can read right through you" said Dallas. "Look you have nothing to worry about" I said. "If your kidnap again or someone's hurting you,let me know so I can hurt them back" said Dallas. "I wouldn't tell you if someone was doing that stuff cause then you'd make it worse" I said. "Well if you don't tell me I'll find out one way or another" said Dallas. "I don't understand how you would" I said. He smirked. "I guess we'll see about that" said Dallas. Just then Bob popped up out of nowhere also crossing his arms glaring at me. I saw Dallas look at him and glare at him. "Care to tell me what's going on?" Bob asked. I rolled my eyes then tried to walk back in the room but Bob blocked me. "Hey Bob,I was handling this! Just leave!" Dallas yelled. I saw Bob look at him then snap his fingers then I looked at Dallas and he had tape on his mouth. I looked back at Bob and he was standing a foot away from me. He walked closer and whispered in my ear "When I find out what's going on,your gonna be in trouble for not telling me right away and  if anyone is hurting you or something there are gonna be in trouble". Bob teleported away. I looked at Dallas and the tape was off of his mouth. I walked back into the room and decided to stay with Soda the whole day and even spend the night at the hospital. I hope Bob and Dallas don't find out what has been going on.
