Break Even? Good Luck

Ally's POV

Today was the best day of the week- Saturday. I woke up and got out of bed but I didn't really feel like getting dressed so I gathered my duvet and took it downstairs. I then watched my 2 favourite Disney films: Aladdin and Monsters Inc. I had already done all the homework set so I didn't have any work to ruin my day.

After these two films, I decided to make some breakfast so I sliced open a bagel and popped it in the toaster. It was then that someone decided to ring the doorbell.

I ran to the door, (in my pyjamas I know) opened it and came face to face with Danny.

"Hey" I said.

"Hi" He replied quietly. "Still in your pyjamas?"

"I was having a lazy day." I explained.

"Ah! Of course." He said smiling. "Can I come in?"

"Oh yeah sorry" I mumbled, stepping aside to let him through. I walked him into the living room and I crawled under my cover. Dan sat next to me and I put my head on his shoulder.

"What did you want to tell me?" I whispered. After I said this, he tensed next to me before answering.

"Ummm, well- I think that we should break up" He said and stood up. My hands felt cold and I went numb my heart skipped a beat in my chest and my head was pounding.

Danny's POV

"I think that we should break up" I told her. The words sounded like poison in my mouth and as much as I wanted to keep her safe, I wanted to take her back in my arms and never leave again. I stood up and stepped away from Ally. She was frozen and her eyes were glistening like she was about to cry but was holding the tears back.

"H-h-how could y-you say that s-so easily?" She stuttered after a while. "How could you just throw it all away with 7 words?"

"No! Ally I love you but I am no good for you. I have got you in trouble before and I will again and again until you finally break. I can't be responsible for hurting you like that."

"Danny, it is not your fault, you are not to blame-"

"Yes I am Ally! Can't you see?! I am so sorry but this is how it needs to be." I said sadly.

"I forgive you! Whatever you are sorry for, I forgive you. It is not your fault if I get in trouble."

"Ally! You were almost arrested!" I shouted.

"I have to do what I have to do and if I get in trouble for being with you, it is okay because I am in love with you! It is too late, I have already fallen." She smiled proudly.

I let out a loud sigh. "Save yourself from the heart ache Ally. Leave now before it is too late because if you don't, you will never be able to. I will have fallen so hard that when you wake up and realise I am bad news, I will not let you go. You could have the world but if you stay with me I will drag you down."

"But I-" Ally intercepted but I didn't let her finish.

"I have been into more fights than you can count, I smoke, I have done drugs and I drink. You are headstrong and always see the best in people."

"Danny, it doesn't matter I love you! Why can't you see that?" She screamed at me, tears running down her face.

"No Ally." I said firmly. "No. You, dreamed of Prince Charming when you were a little girl, you want the perfect man. If you're looking for heaven, Ally, it's sure as hell not me!"

"You are my heaven Danny. I. Bloody. Love. You. And I know you love me. In my life, I have all that I want now the love of my life is near. Danny don't do this!"
