Danny's POV

So I've been engaged for 2 hours and it is the most extraordinary feeling on Earth. No, it wasn't the perfect proposal with a candle lit dinner like I had originally planned. Yes, we were in pyjamas but right now I couldn't care less. I was engaged to the woman I loved and nothing could burst the happy bubble I had created.

"Who are we going to tell first? Our friends or our parents?" Ally asked and I grimaced as my happy bubble popped. Spoke too soon.

"Friends I think." I put in my suggestion before resting my chin on the top of her head. We were stood in the kitchen again swaying slightly to the quiet music.

"They will be angry if we don't tell them. Our parents don't even know we got back together."

"Friends it is then," she agreed and pulled away. Ally then looked down at her finger to examine the ring. "It's beautiful!" She breathed and tears pricked her eyes again.

I wiped them away and kissed her on the forehead.

"Just like you." I told her and grinned when she slapped my arm.

"That was the cheesiest line in the history of cheesy lines Daniel!" She complained and pouted.

"It's true though." I said making Ally blush.

"I'm having a shower." She told me before running off and up the stairs to the bathroom. I also went upstairs and used her second shower. I got dressed in grey jeans, a white T-shirt and a blue jumper. I rolled the sleeves up on my thin jumper because I found it a bit too warm before styling my hair. I left the bathroom just in time to see Ally going down the stairs. I ran up behind he and we went into the kitchen hand in hand before she turned to me.

"You are looking extremely handsome Dan." She complimented and threw me a stunning smile.

"You look amazing too," I said she was wearing a blue dress and a white cardigan and I laughed out loud.

"What?" She asked puzzled.

"We are wearing coordinated outfits and we changed in separate rooms." I told her making her look down at her dress and up at my jumper and T-shirt.

"You're right! How weird," Ally stood flitting between both our outfits before laughing slightly.

"Lets go."

"Go where?" I groaned as she pulled me out the house.

"I have phoned Mark and Amy and Glen is going to be at their house in five minutes." We started to walk along the pavement holding hands. "So wedding planning?" Ally looked up at me and her eyes shone in amusement.

"How hard can it be? All we need is a venue, food and a beautiful dress for my beautiful fiancé" I shrugged and Ally raised her eyebrows.

"Dan. What about the cake, decorations, suits, bridesmaids dresses, photographer. And that's just the tip of the iceberg!"

"Oh shoot!" I mumbled noticing something from across the street.

"I know it's a lot to think-"

"No not that come on!" I cut Ally off and pulled her across the road with me to the news stand.
