Walk Away (The Script Fan Fic!)

7 Years Later

Ally's POV

Truth is, I did find my Prince Charming, in the form of Hugh Altman. He is my fiancé, he popped the question 1 month ago. Hugh is sweet, he buys me flowers and chocolates and took me to Thailand. He is caring and charming and is so dashing. He is a lawyer and we have moved into a large house in Dublin.

I am now 29 and am, surprisingly still friends with Amy and Leah. Mark and Amy were engaged and Leah was married to Ross. She was his P.A. for a year until he kissed her, took her out for a meal and they kicked off from there.

Mark was in a world famous band with Danny and Glen, who they met at a pub. Danny was the lead singer and Mark was on guitar. I have only met Glen once and I really like him. He was a bit shy at first but once he came out of his shell, he was really talkative and funny.

I loved their first album and me and Amy are going to a concert tonight. We got backstage passes and all because we are best friends with Mark so I am super hyped. God, I sound like a teenager.

We finally got to the stadium and were luckily, one of the first people there so we reached the front of the standing area. In about 10 minutes, the stadium was filled up and the show was about to start.

Glen started drumming and I waved to him which he returned with a smile. Danny then ran onto the stage in black skinny jeans, a white t-shirt and a waistcoat. The crowd went wild and a plump, middle aged woman stood beside me was confessing her love to him and asking him to marry her.

"Hello Dublin! We are The Script and we are here to perform for you tonight!" He shouted, bouncing up and down. Suddenly, the show was in full swing. The audience sang along including me and Amy. We came to a song I hadn't listened to yet because it was at the end of the album.

I looked up on stage and my eyes met Danny's for just a second. He looked away from me for two seconds before a shocked look came over his face and he looked back at me. Danny held my gaze and began to sing.

"I don't know why she's with me.

I only brought her trouble since the day she left me.

If I was her by now I would have left me.

I would have walked away but now I've broken away somehow she forgave me.

She said a woman's gotta do what she gotta do.

Even if it means she denies herself the truth.

Cause when your in too deep you wake up when it's too late, you've fallen in love in the worst way.

And if you don't go now then you stay.

I listened to every word Danny sung, his eyes never leaving me. I just knew, this song was about me. It was our story.

How can any woman in her right mind be so blind to find something to say instead of walking with me she should've walked away.

She finds colour in the darkest places.

She finds beauty in the saddest of faces..."
