"MACI!" my best friend Sam called.

She marched toward narrowing her eye brows.

I stepped out of the truck but not fast enough. Jayce caught my hand in his,

"Thanks," He said in a flirty tone.

I huffed and pulled my hand away,

"Your welcome," I said feeling guilty.

Sam grabbed my arm and literally dragged me away.

"See you around," Jayce called over his shoulder.

I sent him a small wave and double locked my gorgeous truck.

Out of nowhere i was thrown against the school wall, an angry slap in the arm caught my attention.

"Ow," I cried out.

Sam snarled furious at me, I must have looked so stupid seeing as i was extremely confused.

"What about David?" She questioned poking me hard in the ribs.

I brought my hand to my face and rubbed the bridge of my nose.

Even though I knew i'd regret it, I flipped out my phone and opened up his text to me.

David 'was' my boyfriend.

He happened to be close friends with Jayce, and only 3 days ago we had been a couple.

Sam gasped and gently tossed my phone back.

She stormed away to where David and his friends, excluding Jayce had been standing. With a quick motion she wiped the smile off his face leaving a red hand imprint on his cheek.

Skipping like she was in 2nd grade she made her way back to me, linking my arm in hers.

Man she could be embarrassing sometimes, but she is my best friend!

Her chocolate brown hair falls to her waste and her eyes are an emerald green, they remind me of Davids,

he had the same eyes, but his hair was dirty blond like Jayces.

I shook my head trying to erase all the thoughts of David and Jayce.

Sam rolled her eyes at me as we made our way to our first class.

"Worst spot ever," I groaned while taking my seat next to David.

Before I never really thought of it as a bad thing, but now that he was with Courtney I begged to be moved.

"Nice to see you to," David mumbled.

While everyone sat about discussing our science projects, Mr. Jeff pulled me aside.

"I notice you and David don't do very well beside one another," He commented.

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms,

"Courtney," I growled.

He took the hint and motioned for me to sit back down.

I noticed Jayce slouching in his seat, I took all his features in.

David chuckled beside me, and Mr. Jeff glared over at him.

I guess he caught me staring at Jayce because the next thing i knew he was being moved.

"Jayce and David switch please," He ordered.

Jayce winked at me as he sat down.

"But..." I began,

I was stopped by Jayces hand gracing over mine. Turning my mind into a blob, I couldn't find anything to say, my words didn't want to come out.

So I lowered in my seat, arguing quietly with myself which received many strange looks.

The teacher continued, I had no interest in what he was saying.

"Boring," Jayce yawned,

I giggled childishly at him.

The bell loudly interrupted the laughter. He stood up and held out his hand to help me out of my seat,

David made gaging noises causing me to blush emencly.

Why was Jayce being so nice to me?

I went along with it anyway though, taking his hand and allowing him to pull me up.

My body slammed against his, my cheeks turned an even brighter red.

"Sorry," I mumbled into his chest.

He slowly brought my chin up and locked his eyes on mine,

he leaned in so his lips where only centimetres from mine.

"It's ok," he whispered.
