Chapter 14

We ran into the water laughing, the small waves splashing just below my knees. Jayce picked me up out of surprise and threw me over his shoulder. I wasn't sure of his intentions so I kicked and squirmed until I landed with and oof on my back in the sand. He hovered over me, and leaned down to kiss my lips. I ran my hands into his sandy hair and I thought I even heard him purr.

"Dog pile!" Denver screamed, just .then him and Hali came charging out of the water an pilled onto us, causing Jayce to fall flat on top of me. I rolled out from under him and stood up wiping the sand from my body.

"Jaaayceee," I heard a girl hiss, She called his name again. Hali and Denver jumped up from the sand and scurried behind me, peeking out from both my legs. I watched as Jayce stood up and came face to face with 3 girls, all wearing slutty bikini tops and tight booty shorts. They all had fake spray tans and wore pounds of makeup, I gaged at the sight of them. The blond one ran her hand threw his thick hair and pulled him closer to her. This made me mad, I watched the other 2 brunettes grab his arms and feel his muscular form. Now I was pissed...

I shook my siblings from my legs and stormed over to them, before I could think I switched the ring over to my wedding finger. I pushed out my stomach a lot making sure it was obvious my belly had grown.

"Excuse me..." I said in my sweetest tone. They all turned toward me including Jayce, I could see the grin spreading across my face.

"Thats my husband," I pointed to Jayce. The girls looked at one Another and took turns gasping at him. I laughed quietly as he went to touch my belly,

"And our baby boy," He smiled brightly.

"Girl," I tested.

"You wish," He laughed.

"Now chloe... please leave me and my beautiful wife alone," He smirked to the blond.

"Well you don't have a ring on!" She shrieked pointing at Jayces finger.

I dug into my jean pocket and pulled out my dads ring, the wedding ring he wore before my mother left. I had always carried it with me, but I never thought it would come in handy. I put it in his palm and he slipped it on my finger,

"I just didn't want to lose it while playing with the kids," He said motioning at Hali and Denver.

They came over quietly and Hali took my hand, while Denver stood in front of Jayce with his arms up. Jayce picked him up and planted a small kiss on Denver's blond head.

"Well!" Chloe snapped,

"Thats my sissy's man," Denver growled.

She clenched her fists and stomped away, the brunettes repeated her reactions and fallowed after her.

"Ice cream?" Hali asked,

"I ceem" Denver wiggled

I laughed happily and started walking for the bag,

"Ice cream!!!" Jayce shrieked like a baby and jumped up and down. People had started to stare but Denver laughed and screamed at Jayces embarrassing performance.

"Fine!" I gave into their whining,

Me and Jayce walked hand in hand, him licking away tentivly at his vanilla ice cream. The kids on the other hand had chocolate spread across their faces, and covering their arms.

Everyone wiped down and sat on 2 or more towels on the way to our next stop, I had one last thing planed that not even Jayce knew about. I noticed that he still had on my dads ring, and mine was still on my ring finger. He must have seen the smile on my face because he leaned over and kissed my cheek gently.

"I like it there," He said pointing to my ring. I looked up at him and my smile grew bigger, my heart longed for this, but my gut had something else to say...
