Chapter 5

"That bitch!" I screamed!

Jayce was gently stroking my arm, explaining to me what would be happening.

"Summer isn't that long," He tried.

I clenched my fists and screamed some more.

"Honestly?!" I boomed!

"Does she really expect us to spend the entire summer together?!" I added.

"I don't think it would be that bad," He offered.

he had One hand on the wheel the other on my arm, he was gentle and sounded so sweet when he tried to calm me.

"Listen.." He began,

"I well.. I like you a lot," He gestured.

"And well I think it might be nice to spend some time getting to know each other," He quickly said.

I didn't know what to say to him,

I couldn't leave him hanging though.

"You can have anyone you want, why would you settle for me?" I asked shyly.

He pulled over immediately,

though i could see my house only metres away, I didn't complain.

He cupped my cheeks in his hands,

playing with the lose strands of my silk like hair.

He looked me sharply in the eyes, and never once took his gaze of me.

"Because your better then any other girl I know!" He squealed.

"How so?" I questioned, not willing to give into him so easily.

"You don't want me because i'm popular, I well don't even think you want me at all," He paused.

"Jayce," I started.

"Ever since I first saw you with David, I knew I wanted you. When My aunt told me who's dad she had married I couldn't believe it.

Best of all.. I just call her aunt cause shes my moms best friend, we are not related." He told me,

"And.." He started again.

"I've always wanted to be your man, Maci I think I love you!" He exclaimed.
