"Excuse me miss, my friend called you in the morning to give her room key. I'm here to grab some of her documents and laptop." Kayden stood in front of the female firefighter dormitory reception.

"Let me check sir. What's the name?"

"Raven Lorenzo." She typed something on her PC and nodded her head.

"Here's the key sir."

"Thanks." Kayden gladly took the keys and went to Raven's room. He opened the door lock and quickly grabbed her laptop. He fumbled through her drawers and table to find the file Raven told him to get but he couldn't find it. He called her.

"Sup dude?" Raven greeted on the call.

"Hey, I was wondering where you kept your document?" He asked.

"Uh, in the drawer I guess? It is gray in color." She tried to remember the place where she kept it.

"It's not there. I checked the table too."

There was silence on the other line for some seconds after she spoke up again. "I remember it now, it's in the lamp drawer beside my bed." She told him as he opened the drawer.

"Found it. Thanks."

"No worries." She hung up as Kayden stuffed everything in a bag pack. He was about to switch off the lights when something caught his eyes.

Bewildered, he grabbed the box and scanned it. It wasn't like he was taught to touch someone else's thing in their absence but the note intrigued him.

"For my one and only  - Anonymous"

He grimaced at the note because he had a feeling that it was from someone else. If Agnett could have given her something she would obviously have mentioned her name.

He was having a lot of questions in his head over it. He didn't want to make assumptions all by himself without learning the whole situation behind it and thinking about her cheating on Agnett is something Kayden would conclude as the very last option.

He shook his head to clear his thoughts and left the box as it was.

There might be lots of girls and even guys who might have a crush on Raven, so it could be one of them. You're just protective for Agnett and you're overthinking.

He quickly dashed out of the room after switching off the lights and locked it. Checking the time he gave back the keys to the reception and drove to Raven's house.

"I hope whatever I'm thinking right now, isn't true." He muttered to himself and frowned at the road. Who else could send her that? Is it her...ex? Whom they met in the morning.

He frowned even harder at the road almost as if it was a real person. "As much as I know Raven, she won't cheat on Agnett and about Margret, I am damn sure she's up to something. I just don't trust her." He mumbled again feeling frustrated as it wasn't clear if it belonged to her ex.

He finally reached the house and shut the car door behind him. He walked by the rock pathway towards the entrance but stopped as soon as he saw the fire woman hugging someone at the doorstep.

He stopped in a corner and watched them keenly. He recognised the girl as Raven's ex-girlfriend, Margret because of her familiar purse which he saw at the park.

It seemed like she was crying and the tension between them was visible. She rubbed her back like any other human would do. After a while she pulled back and Raven spoke something to her over which Margret nodded her head. She wiped her tears off and went away handling an envelope into Raven's hands.
