"Aye Brandon! you closing?" Raven called for the blonde haired man with fair skin who rolled his eyes at her. "No. I am opening it for you, your highness?!" He mocked, directing the fact that it's already 10 pm. Raven laughed at him

"So what you want today because it's so normal for you to eat at this hour. And who's your friend?" He asked, wiping the counter. "Actually, It's normal because you make such good coffee that it keeps me up late. And by staying late I end up getting hungry." She joked, making him smile.

Agnett watched them sitting on a stool. "And she's my kitten, Agnett. Agnett this is Brandon the master chef of this canteen. He's the mother of all the people at this fire department." Raven said, batting her eyelashes dramatically, making Brandon roll his eyes.

"Hello, it's nice to meet you. Please don't mind this woman." Agnett did a crazy finger twirl near her head referring to the kitten part, making Brandon smile.

"So what can I get for you both?" Brandon asked, drying the ceramic cups.

"Umm..I'll take a double hot chocolate shake. What do you want?" Agnett was looking at the menu given by Brandon. "As always, black coffee, no sugar." Brandon said before Raven could open her mouth.

She shrugged, smiling at Agnett. "who takes coffee at this hour!?" Agnett asked, surprised. "It's because she can't live without coffee and even if she's here for something else, she'll still order coffee." Brandon said going inside the kitchen. "And cream biscuits too!" Agnett called out for him, giving a sheepish smile.

Agnett stared at Raven. "What? Something on my face?" She asked, touching her cheeks as Agnett crossed her arms over her chest. "Raven, having coffee at this hour makes your sleep go away and that's why you can't sleep properly at night." She said like a mom scolding her child.

"I can't be without Brandon's coffee. Also, my job makes me stay awake all the time. And I have got other reasons for sleepless nights." Raven said, shrugging. Agnett rolled her eyes as Brandon came back with the drinks.

"It was for both of you only, otherwise I would have closed by now." Brandon replied, settling himself on a chair and vanished away with a glam magazine in his hands.

"I love you too, Brany!" Raven called for him laughing which made Brandon roll his eyes.

Agnett smiled at her childishness and grabbed her drink. Watching the cup of brown liquid made her mouth water and she took a sip moaning in the taste.

".... Mmm!"

Raven stopped and almost choked herself hearing her. She glanced at her face which was looking heavenly good. Agnett then held the cup with both of her hands and gulped down the whole drink in one breath.

"Easy, kitten." Raven kept her hand beneath the cup, watching her closely.

"Ahh!" Agnett left a deep breath almost making Raven feel butterflies in her tummy.

Is she trying to drive me insane?

There was a lot of foam on her upper lip, so Raven guided her to wipe it off. "You got a little here..."

Agnett tried to wipe it off but miss the exact place every time.

"No. On the right side." Raven said again, sipping her coffee and watching her fail every time. "Come here...."
