As the night arrived, they reached to their home. Kayden chose to go back but Agnett insisted him to stay with her. He dragged her sleepy body with him to her room. As soon as they reached, Kayden gently laid her and went to wash up.
Agnett tried best to sleep but she couldn't. After getting back from Lorenzo's and knowing what seemed like a big shocking stuff to her, she wasn't at peace. She just stared at the space and kept zoning out.
"Hey, down to the earth, Agnett. You've been having this numb face on since we have been back from Mr. Lorenzo. What's wrong?" He asked getting dressed in his comfy t-shirt and shorts. They both sometimes stay at each other places without planning so they did have each other's spare clothes with themselves.
"Nothing, I am just thinking about something." She replied as he plopped beside her on bed. "I know you're a big dumbass who gets worried over pea size problems, but you have me, you know that right." He said facing her by resting his head on palms.
He had always been a really understanding friend to her and always supported her when she needed one. They were so close it almost made people think that they're together but the truth was, they tried to kiss each other once and yicked away laughing so hard. She smiled thinking about that specific moment.
"Now she's smiling. What are you, on your periods??" He said shaking his head and she laughed. "Of course not! If I would have been then you must be the one suffering by my annoying ass with loads of yelling." She said as she snuggled beside his muscular arm.
"I know, even I keep reminder of your date so I will get you things and you won't make me your prey." He replied showing the reminder on the calendar, in his phone, causing Agnett to chuckle. "I sometimes feel so lucky having you by my side, you know that." Smiling, she smacked Kayden's head.
"My god! Injuries are really getting into my head." She snorted and made gagging face.
"Yes you're lucky because I am here! But I am luckier because your ass had to hit in my life!" He held her head and moved it so funnily that they both laughed.
"Do you remember the time we tried to kiss and pulled away like we were plague to each other?" She asked finding herself hard to restrain the funny feeling inside her. "Oh please don't even get me started on that stupid thing." He giggled. "I felt so weird like what the heck just happened, sat there watching you with a face and you literally flew backwards so far laughing your fat ass off!" He laughed more and she let herself loose too.
"My god! Haha! We literally suck!" She laughed more in between her words.
"Haha! Of course. When I get overprotective over you, people think I am jealous of other guys but surely, I be there to kick their ass before they do anything to hurt you." He said as our laughter died.
"I know so do I get because I care for you too much and no one else would do shit for you but sweet little me." She said pointing herself and he rolled his eyes.
"Now tell me what's bothering you." He asked with a serious face and she looked somewhere else.
"Umm, do you remember the girl I told you about in the hospital?" She said playing with the tip of her pony tail, brows frowning.
"Yeah maybe, the one who saved you from falling and you kind have chatted with here and there?" He said looking bit attentive.
She nodded.
"Yeah. Her name is Raven too." She said looking at him with an oblivious expression.
"And?" He asked still not getting it.
"And, the girl who saved me has also a name, which is Raven." She told him already obvious that he should have got it now.
"Are you telling me they both are same person?" He asked, this time sitting straight. "Yes, I mean I am not sure, you haven't seen 'the hospital Raven' and I haven't seen the 'firewoman' so I don't know. But they both have same name and trust me, she literally have all the specialities of my saviour." She said all gesturing with her one arm and trying hard to explain it clearly.
