The faint voices were filling the silent noon as the muffling gave shivers to Raven's body. She held the card in front of her and checked the place to be exact and right.

Folding it back inside her black coat, she took her helmet off and parked her bike, looking around the venue to be decorated with flowers and artificial leaves.

Taking a deep breath, she blended herself with all the guests wearing black attire to attend Jeffrey Cooper's funeral. The atmosphere was grim and silent.

Everyone quietly entered inside the hall with sniffing noses and watery eyes. Frowning, she took the third seat from the front, beside an old man who nodded his head at her.

She fixed her gaze to the person who was getting consoled by the guests and was sitting right in front of the deceased body. They hugged her and comforted her during the hard time she was going through.

There weren't many people in the event so it felt really empty. One by one, everyone put bouquets and flowers on the casket which was kept on a decorated podium. There was a picture of Margret's father on top along with some of his belongings.

It was Raven's turn to honor him as she walked up holding a bunch of flowers near the casket and put it on carefully. Standing there for a few seconds she turned back only to find Margret weeping uncontrollably.

As being pure hearted, Raven walked up to her and held her hand in reassurance. Margret tightened her grip and cried harder.

"Please stay with me." She pleaded and Raven had no choice but to sit with her. It would be very rude and insensitive to decline her.

She left Agnett alone just to know if this woman was lying or not. Kayden reassured her that he'll take care of Agnett and Raven should attend the funeral to clear all the questions in their heads.

To be honest, she didn't find anything suspicious and everything felt natural and real. It's not like Margret would appoint a whole bunch of actors to pretend a show of her own father's funeral. No one could stoop this low.

There were some speeches and heartfelt words presented for the deceased person. "Thank you for coming." Margret wiped her tears.

"It's alright. I hope you're fine." She nodded her head as they listened to the letters written in the memory of Jeffrey.

"Jeffery was a great man. He proved himself to be the kindest and most respectable person among his family members along with business empire. His sudden demise has affected and changed our lives in a very extreme way. We hope in whatever place he is, God will bless him with happiness and prosperity. May his soul rest in peace." The church father presented his respect for Jeffrey.

Everyone became more miserable and Margret clung to Raven's arm, as if she was the only support that has been left in her life.

After a while they took his casket out on his way to the graveyard. It was a 5 minute distance walk as everyone followed the trail.

They settled the casket inside the deep hole dug on the ground as everyone tossed a fistful of dirt over it, standing in a circle. After a while they left, giving quick hugs to Margret.

Raven was waiting for the time to get back at her girlfriend as soon as possible. She was really worried for her little kitten. Desperate, she called Kayden, walking away from the crowd.

"Hey? Is she alright? I'm worried." She spoke as quickly as the phone picked up.

"Rest assured. She is getting discharged this evening so you can visit her at home."

Tapping her foot on the ground impatiently, she watched around aimlessly. "Send me a snap of her. I wanna see her."

"Fine. I'll do it. How's it going out there?" He asked, narrowing his eyes.
