"Please move it to the right...a bit more...a little left..Yeah that's perfect!" The workers put the huge event banner over the front gate of the park.

I had been helping the staff since 10 in the morning. Mrs. John informed us that there had been a change in our last pre test timing and it will be taken at 9.

I was glad that I'll be free after the test and I will have the whole day to finish the decoration. I straight came to the park and began assembling. My mind was really fucked up after I saw Raven's stunt in the canteen but since morning, I was feeling even worse in my chest.

"Agnett, where do I put these?" Xavier, the same waiter whom I almost got fired yesterday, asked me, holding two big cartons in his hands.

"What's in them?" I asked, hugging my notepad and putting pen in my bun.

"Chair covers." He replied, barely holding the boxes steady. I smiled and took one of the box.

"Your hand!?"

"No problem, it's fine. Come with me." I walked past the rose bushes, straight to the open sitting area. There were other people setting the tent with colorful fabrics. If someone glanced up standing in the center, it would look like a big candy.

"Keep it here. After they bring chairs, we can put them on." I smiled and he scratched his neck.

"The theme is quite good." He took a look at our surroundings.

"Thanks. I like your shirt by the way. You look quite better in casuals than uniform. I must say." I complimented him and he bit his lip holding himself from smiling too much.

"Thanks. I got it on sale." He said pulling the fabric and I chuckled. Xavier had a really cheerful personality and great sense of humor. We started to talk when I got here in the morning.

"Excuse me sir! Can you please organize them around the fountain?" I shouted at the worker who was taking the flower vases in a trolley.

"Okay miss!"

"Thank you! And Sir that is not the color I selected. Please change them and make sure the white chiffon ones are in the middle of coloured ones." I told the worker pointing at the deep red colored curtain in his hands. He nodded, muttering sorry and stepped down the ladder.

"Umm, would you mind if I ask something?" I didn't notice that Xavier was still here.

"Of course not. Shoot."

"Is Mr. Shannon your Grandfather?" He asked in hesitancy. I understood why he paled the time of the scolding, after hearing grandfather from my mouth.

"No no. We're not related by blood. We're just very close since I was a little girl. He and his wife didn't had any kids and that's why he loves me and Kayden a lot." I started to stroll on the grass and he walked beside me. He raised his brows in realization.

"Oh. I almost thought I was done for hurting the manager's granddaughter." He said touching his forehead and I laughed.

"He's not that bad. He just acts cold but trust me, he's like a coconut." I said reaching to the empty cafe counter. The park was closed for the event preparation so there were no customers. Grandpa was in his office and the only thing which was making noise was the TV.
