037- Plans Almost Failed

He better have a good idea, but he said i might not like it. I trust Mattheo with all of my heart but i never know what he's planning. If this plan will keep me and Draco safe, then i'm all ears.

"What's your idea?" I asked him worriedly.

"Well, we need to go back." He told me. He was right, i wasn't going to like this idea. There's no way i'm going back there.

"I'm out here because of that place, if i go back i'm going to be killed." I told him and turned around to start walking away. I can't go anywhere near that place.

"No no, listen to me. I have the perfect plan." He quickly told me and grabbed my arms to stop me from moving. I turned back around to face him and crossed my arms.

"I'm listening." I told him and sighed. I had a feeling that this plan wasn't going to work, or at least that the plan would be rubbish.

"We will both go back to the Manor and I will tell my father that I found you in the woods. He will then most likely lock you up in the cellar but I know who else is in the cellar currently." He explained.

"Who is in the cellar?" I asked him. I wondered who it could be.

"Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. The snatchers got them just after they tried to get you. I don't particularly like Harry and I don't talk to him but he's smart, he will have a plan to get out. So, you are going to get put with them and you are going to tell them everything that's happened. I know you and Harry are friends, so he will most likely help you and save you." He explained more. It did sound like a good plan.

"Wait, what about Draco?" I asked him, remembering that I only wanted to go back for him.

"Y/n, this is the only way you will be safe. Draco is already safe but they want you dead." He told me. He was right.

"I know, but what if the plan fails? What if they just straight up kill me?" I asked him worriedly. They want me dead, even my own father probably wants me dead. Why would they wait when they could just kill me there and then?

"I doubt it. They like waiting, they like to play games. Trust me, they won't kill you straight away." He told me, making eye contact. I trust him, we used to date after all and I did love him. I still love him as a friend but not in any other way. I like Draco now, I like him a lot but Mattheo and I are still close. I know it's weird to be friends with your ex but we used to be close before we started dating so it feels like we're still best friends from years ago.

"I trust you, let's just get this over and done with." I sighed. I just want this all to be over.

"We better get going then. I promise you I won't let them hurt you." He told me with a look of concern. In that moment I felt as if Mattheo really cared about me. I know he cared but you seemed really genuine and since we broke up i've never seen that side of him like I used to. I don't regret breaking up with him but some part of me still feels like he has feelings still. I needed to focus on the plan right now and not anything else.

Me and Mattheo shortly arrived at the Manor. As we entered, Mattheo grabbed my arm to look like he had dragged me there so we wouldn't look suspicious.

Once we arrived at the Manor, Mattheo opened the doors and we walked inside. As soon as we entered, we both saw Draco walking down the stairs but he stopped as soon as he saw us.

"Y/n?" Draco asked looking shocked and surprised.

"Get your father." Mattheo ordered, trying to act calm and content. Draco gave us both a confused look.

"What's going on?" Draco asked us, still standing stock still on the stairs.

"Get your father, Malfoy." Mattheo repeated himself again. The tone of his voice changed, he became more demanding and more like his father, it was scary. Draco didn't say anything but started making his way down the stairs. He stepped towards us as if he was going to hug me but Mattheo gave him a 'don't even think about it' look and Draco stepped back and started walking towards a room. He then opened the door and walked into the room.
