I stayed in my room for the rest of that day. I fell asleep pretty early due to this but I didn't wake up early. I wanted to stay in my room for the rest of this week, I don't even want to look at Malfoy ever again. I refuse to marry him, I can't be forced to marry someone I don't like!
I was lying in my bed, dreading of the day ahead. I heard a knock on my door, it better not be my mother or father.
"Y/n?" I heard my mother ask from outside of my door, of course it had to be her. I didn't answer her to try and make it seem like I was sleeping, but my mother knew me more than I knew myself. She entered my room without another word and immediately started walking towards my bed.
"Me and your father are leaving in an hour." She informed me. "You need to come out of this room." She continued when I didn't respond.
"I don't want to." I simply replied.
"You can't spend the next few days in this room, you need to come out and accept the decision that we have made." She spoke firmly.
"It's so unfair!" I groaned.
"Life is unfair, but you have to deal with it! Get ready and come downstairs to say goodbye to your father and I." She told me before leaving me in my room.
I groaned but decided to get up out of bed. I got dressed and exited my room. I walked down the stairs and I saw my mother and father waiting at the door with Draco and his parents.
"Goodbye Y/n, me and your father will write to you soon." My mother brought me into a hug and kissed my forehead.
"Goodbye father." I said to my father and he nodded. Me and my father don't hug or have any physical affection toward eachother.
My mother and father left the Malfoy Manor and I was stuck with the Malfoys.
"It's quite a cold day today, so I was thinking that we could do something in the house." Narcissa suggested to me and Draco.
"I have business to do, so unfortunately I cannot participate with anything you three will be doing." Lucius told us before he made his way upstairs, presumably to his study room.
"I'm going back to my room." Draco said.
"No you're not, we all need to do something other than stay in our rooms." His mother said.
"But I don't want to do anything with her." Draco groaned and pointed at me.
"In the most respectable way possible, I don't want to do anything with him either." I addressed Mrs Malfoy.
"You two need to start getting along." Narcissa said, more sternly. There was no way that me and Draco would ever get along.
"How are we supposed to get along?" Draco asked.
"How about you two make us all dinner?" Narcissa suggested and clapped her hands together.
"I am not making dinner with her." Draco spat.
"You know how to cook and I'm sure Y/n does as well." Narcissa spoke.
"Actually, I don't exactly know how to cook." I said quietly.
"Oh, well I'm sure that Draco could be able to teach you how to cook. It could bring you two closer." She said. I was hoping that me not being able to cook would be an excuse for me and Draco not to cook dinner together.
"She can learn herself, I'm not teaching her anything!" Draco seemed to have made up his mind.
"You will teach her and you two will make dinner, end of discussion!" Narcissa raised her voice whicg left Draco and I stunned. "You two can decide what to make, ingredients are in the cupboards." She sighed and took herself upstairs. Me and Draco stood in an awkward silence for a minute until he started walking towards the kitchen.
