028- Following Him

After Draco left my dorm, Millie and Pansy came running in.

"What we're you two talking about?" Pansy smirked.

"Nothing for you." I sarcastically smiled back.

"You're no fun." She rolled her eyes. I scoffed and rolled my eyes too.

"Anyways, me and Pansy have to go." Millie said and gave Pansy a look.

"Oh yeah, we need to go." Pansy said and they both ran out of the dorm. Where were they off to, and why were they in such a rush?

Pansy's Pov
When Y/n and Draco were talking in our dorm, me and Millie stood at the door and listened to their conversation. We heard most of what they were saying and we are confused by it all. What did they mean by 'You know' and 'what happened'. We had to go find Blaise and tell him this as he might have an idea to what they were talking about.

Me and Millie walked to Blaise's dorm and knocked on the door. The door opened to reveal Blaise, yet again.

"Why are you two here again?" He asked us.

"Is Mattheo in?" I asked.

"No." He asked, looking confused.

"Can we come in?" I asked.

"Um, sure." He hesitated but then agreed and let us in his dorm and shut the door behind us.

"Either you two are my secret admirers or you just love seeing me all the time." Blaise joked.

"Draco came to our dorm and had a private conversation with Y/n." Millie told him.

"He what?" Blaise asked as if he didn't hear us properly.

"We heard some of the conversation." I told him.

"What we're they saying?" Blaise asked us.

"They were talking about how they 'didn't have a say in it' and how they 'don't regret what happened'." I told him.

"What does that mean? What do they not regret?" Blaise questioned us.

"We're not sure, but before Draco left, he told Y/n that she did the right thing. We don't know if he was saying that to Y/n breaking up with Mattheo, or if he was saying it to something else." Millie explained.

"Something is definitely going on between them and something must have happened in the library." Blaise decided.

"Me and Millie could try ask Y/n if anything is happening between them, she's a terrible liar around us." I suggested. Me and Millie might be able to get the truth out of Y/n, she's easy to crack. Draco, on the other hand, is the complete opposite.

"That's a good idea. I would try ask Draco, but you can never get anything out of him." Blaise chuckled.

"Y/n will crack eventually." Millie said, almost sounding evil.

It's true, Y/n has never kept a secret from us. She tells us everything as she can't keep her mouth shut, and the fact that we don't stop bugging her until she tells us. If she is keeping a secret from us, then it must be a big one as she has been quite secretive about it.

Y/n's Pov
The day had flew by and I was heading back to the common room from D.A.D.A with Snape. I hate his lessons; I think everyone does. Millie, Pansy and Blaise have been giving me weird looks all day, which is odd. Millie and Pansy wanted to ask me something at the end of the day in our dorm. This was also weird as if they wanted to ask me something, they would've just asked me in class.

I walked back to the Slytherin common room as it was getting late and I wanted to know what Millie and Pansy wanted to ask me. As I was walking, someone bumped into me but then they continued to quickly walk away behind me. How rude, they didn't even say sorry. I turned around to see who it was and it was Draco. Of course it was him, it's always him.

I decided to follow Draco as it was late so I was wondering where the was going, hopefully no where dangerous. He has been sneaky and suspicious during the past year and he has been disappearing a lot, so it was time to find out what he was hiding. I had to stay quiet while I was following him as I didn't want him to know I was behind him. I noticed that we were walking towards the Room Of Requirements which meant that I had to run into the room before the door shut.

He didn't notice I was behind him which I was glad about as I was walking quite quickly behind him. Once we got to the Room Of Requirements, Draco stopped in-front of it and I hid behind a pillar. The door suddenly opened and he entered. The door started closing so I ran very quickly to get inside and I was successful. The room was full of cobwebs and it was dark and dusty. I still continued to follow Draco as he walked through the room until he stopped in-front of a large object. It looked almost like a cabinet, it was huge. I saw Draco place something in the cabinet and then he shut it. I wanted a closer look, so I tried to move closer but my arm brushed past a metal bowl and knocked it over. I rushed over to a table and hid behind it.

"Who's there?" I heard Draco shout. I didn't know what to do, I had no where to go. Maybe if I stayed where I was, he wouldn't find me.

"Whoever you are, come out or I'll find you myself." He warned. I'm screwed. I stayed silent and didn't move a muscle.

"I guess no one's here then." Draco said, which made me sigh in relief. Thank goodness he wasn't going to find me, that would end badly. I heard his footsteps fade, so I decided to slowly stand up to see where he was.

"Of course, I should've known you would have followed me." I jumped out of my skin as Draco spoke behind me.

"You scared the living daylights out of me!" I complained as I turned around to face him.

"What are you doing here?" Draco asked, furiously.

"I wanted to see where you always disappeared to, I wanted to know what you were hiding from us." I told him.

"You shouldn't be here." He told me.

"I don't think you should be here." I crossed my arms.

"Listen, you need to go." He warned me.

"Not before you tell me what you were doing with that cabinet." I told him and began walking towards the cabinet.

"Don't." He said and grabbed my arm to stop me from going any further. I shook his grip off my arm and went to the cabinet. I cautiously opened it and saw a dead bird lying inside. I gasped and turned to face Draco.

"What is this?" I asked him in shock.

"I can't explain, y/l/n." He sighed and looked down.

"Why not?" I asked him.

"I just can't." He muttered and brushed past my shoulder. I grabbed his wrist before he could walk away.

"Tell me what's going on." I told him.

"You need to go, it's too dangerous and I don't want you to get into this mess." He said.

"What mess?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"This mess, all of this." He told me and gestured his hands around the room.

"I don't understand." I tilted my head.

"You will soon enough." He sighed. Before I could answer he walked away and grabbed something. "Drink this." He told me and handed me a cup of something.

"I'm fine, thanks." I said slowly as I didn't know what he was trying to give me.

"Please, just drink it." He pleaded. I don't think he would try to kill me or poison me.

"Fine." I said and slowly took a drink of the liquid.

"I'm sorry." He apologised after I drink the liquid. I started to feel dizzy.

"What did you give me?" I asked him as my eyes started close.

"Sleeping Draught potion." He said, and that was the last thing I heard before I passed out.
