036- Runaway problems

I can't believe it, I left the Manor. I was so happy but I had to leave Draco, he couldn't come with me or they would be able to find us easily. I refuse to become a death eater, I know Draco had no choice but I can't become one. I had to run fast, they will have many death eaters after me as of what I know. I had no where to go though, I had never been in the forests beyond the Manor but I had to keep low. I couldn't be spotted or I would be killed.

I started running towards the forest which I thought would never end, it seemed endless. I wasn't sure where to go as I had never been here before but I needed to get as far away from the Manor as I could. I could try and find somewhere to stay for a while until i can go back to Hogwarts.

A few hours had passed and my legs were starting to ache, i had been walking all this time but it seemed as if the forest was never ending. I needed to find somewhere to rest before it got dark, who knows what sort of creatures could come out at night. I wasn't going to chance it, I had to be safe.

After a long time, i finally found a ditch where there was a small lake and a few logs. It wasn't great, but it would do for the time being. I finally was able to sit down and have rest before trying to find somewhere or someone.

After some time of sitting down it started to get dark, I needed to find somewhere safe for me to go or at least somewhere where i can sleep. I got up from the log i was sat on and started searching. I soon came across another ditch, but this time there was a tent. It was a random tent in the middle of the forest, I didn't know if anyone was in it. I grabbed my wand from my pocket in case it was a trap and i slowly made my way over to see if anyone was there. I looked inside of the tent but no one was there, I was so relieved. There was a chance that whoever's tent it was could come back and hurt me but i had to take that chance because of how tired I was. So I made my way into the tent and laid down to try and sleep

My eyes opened and it was daylight again, I had no clue how long I was asleep for but i wasn't disturbed so the tent must have been abandoned by someone. I didn't want to stay for long in case someone was to come back so i came out of the tent and began walking again.

I was thinking about Draco, just him. I was scared for him, what if they hurt him for failing to keep me at the Manor. I won't forgive myself if anything happens to him.

As i was walking, and thinking about Draco, I heard a noise. A twig had snapped. Someone must be near by. I stood still and slowly grabbed my wand from my back pocket and looked around at my surroundings. Everything was silent, no one was around. I sighed in relief and i started turning around to start walking again. When i turned around I jumped out of my skin, six men were surrounding me. I recognised them, they were the snatchers.

"Shit!" I quietly shouted as the one of them started walking towards me. Scabior, the leader of the snatchers.

"What's a young girl like you doing here all alone?" Scabior asked as he came towards me. He was a creep, but i hoped he didn't recognise me.

"I'm just walking." I simply answered, my voice shaking.

"What's your name sweetheart?" He asked me.

"Emily Waters" I answered him, I couldn't tell him my real name or he would know.

"We both know that isn't true, don't we?" He said smiling weirdly as he came closer to me and stroked the side of my face. Did he know who i was? I was screwed, I had 6 death eaters surrounding me.

"I don't know what you mean." I stuttered trying to play it off.

"Well, we were sent out here to find a girl who had fled from the Malfoy Manor and you just happen to be here." He smirked evilly.

"I'm telling the truth!" I exclaimed at him. He raised his eyebrows and then turned to one of the men.

"Search her name." He told one of them. The snatcher grabbed a book out of his pocket and started reading it. What was that book? What was he doing?

"No Emily Waters here." He then said out loud. Scabior turned to me and raised his eyebrows.

"We know who you are Y/n, you have no where to go." He told me. I looked around to see myself surrounded, I had no where to go. "Grab her." He told two of the snatchers who came walking towards me. I don't know what came over me but I punched Scabior in the lower stomach which made him curl in pain. That was my chance, I couldn't out run six men but I could try. I grabbed my wand and started casting spells at the snatchers which made my escape easier.

"Snatch her!" Scabior demanded in fury. I ran as fast as i could but I couldn't dodge them all, there were too many people. I kept running and running but they kept chasing me faster and faster. I didn't think I would make it, I was going to be killed one way or another.

I kept running but looked behind me as i ran. As i turned to face forward again, I saw a figure infront of me but before i had time to stop, I had ran into them and my head hit the ground. My vision went black.

My eyes opened and i had a banging head ache. I sat up to see that I was in i some sort of room, there was a wooden roof and wooden walls. Where was I? Did the snatchers catch me? I looked down to see that I still had my wand, which means I didn't get caught. I was so confused but all of a sudden i heard footwear's coming towards the room that i was in. I grabbed my wand to try and protect myself. The figure came closer until they started walking into the room.

"You're awake!" They said in delight as they walked in. I recognised that voice, and then i saw their face. I jumped up and immediately ran to hug them.

"Mattheo!" I said in relief as i hugged him.

"I wasn't sure how long you would be asleep for, you hit your head pretty hard. I'm glad you're okay though." He smiled at me as we separated.

"How did you find me? Why am i here? Why are you here? Where are the snatchers?" I attacked him with questions, i was really confused.

"My father told me to look for you and bring you back. I found you just in time as the snatchers were about to get you. I told them that my father wanted me to bring you to him myself which made them trust me and leave. This is my cabin which i found a few months ago, it was abandoned but i've made it a second home for me as I don't like my father." He explained.

"Thank you for saving me, I would be dead without you." I smiled at him. My smile faded as i came back into reality.

"Wait, so are you going to take me to your father?" I asked him looking worried.

"Y/n, you know i hate him. I want nothing to do with anything he does and i especially won't be handing you over to him but we need to be careful, my father has people looking everywhere for you." He told me.

"Is Draco okay?" I asked him.

"He is fine, he told them he tried to stop you but you used a spell on him to keep him back." He told me. I sighed in relief, i'm so grateful he's okay.

"What are we going to do now then?" I questioned him.

"I have an idea but you might not like it." He told me seriously.
