It was the morning of the first full day at Draco's house and I couldn't be bothered to get out of bed. The guest beds were surprisingly comfortable. I didn't know what the time was but it was light outside, so I figured that it was late morning. I wanted to go back to sleep so I shut my eyes for a split second until there was a knock at my door.

"Yeah?" I asked to whoever was at the door.

"Can I come in?" The voice aksed. To be honest, I just woke up so I didn't look great but I couldn't tell who was at the door so I wasn't fussed over who saw me.

The person opened the door slowly and entered the room. Of course, it was Malfoy. The one person who I would not want to see as soon as I woke up.

"You look awful." He insulted.

"What do you expect? I just woke up." I scoffed. Why did it have to be him at my door?

"Well, it's late morning, you should've woken up by now." He said.

"I'm sorry but why are you even here?" I asked him, still wondering why he was in my room.

"I just came to tell you that our parents want to talk to us when you're ready, as you're clearly not ready." He informed me.

"I was sleeping." I rolled my eyes.

"Oh, I can see that." He chuckled quietly and exited my room without another word.

I'm so annoyed that Draco just saw me looking like this. Why do i even care? I don't even like him. Next time, I need to wake up earlier.

I got dressed and headed downstairs to go try and find my parents and Draco. I soon found them all sitting in the Drawing room.

"Ah Y/n, go take a seat next to Draco." Lucius Malfoy told me. My parents and Draco's parents were sitting on separate couches, directly opposite to where Draco was sitting. He was also sitting on a couch, which looked like it could fit three people on.

I sat down on the same couch as Draco, but sat as far away from him as possible.

"As you both know, we need to talk to you about something very important." My father started off saying. "We have all made this decision for your best interests." He finished saying.

"It has occurred to us and too many others that many pure-bloods are marrying half-bloods and muggle-borns." Lucius spat the word 'muggle-born'. "This means that the amount of half-bloods are increasing." He explained. Me and Draco have eachother a confused look as we had no idea what they were talking about.

"What does this have to do with us?" I asked.

"We have arranged something for you and Draco." Lucius told both of us.

"What have you arranged?" Draco asked. At this point, me and Draco were starting to get worried at what his father would say, as we knew it wouldn't be good.

"A marriage." Lucius said in a strong tone.

"A what?" I stuttered as I struggled to get words out. Draco was speechless, I could tell by the way his mouth was open but no words were delivered by him.

"You and Draco are going to get married." My father informed me, as if I didn't hear the first time.

"I'm not doing this." I said before getting up and leaving the room. I heard footsteps behind me as I quickly tried to go back to my room.

"Y/n, come back." My mother turned me around, by my shoulder, to face her.

"No, this is very much unwanted." I told her.

"We are doing this for you, for Draco, for the pure-blood tradition." She told me.

"I have a boyfriend." I raised my voice at her.

"He's a half-blood." She sighed. I folded my arms and scoffed at her words. "You need to come back." She said.

"No." I said, blatantly.

"You'll warm up to the idea eventually." She told me, as if she could see the future. I then walked upstairs, back up to my room.

I cannot believe what just happened. Why me and him? Out of everyone in the whole world, why him?

Draco's Pov:

"I'm not marrying her, father!" I told my father after Y/n left the room.

"You do not have a say in this, Draco." He spat back at me.

"This is so unfair!" I shouted at my father and stormed out of the room. I walked up the stairs, entered my room, and slammed the door shut.

Out of everyone in the whole world, why her? I would much rather marry anyone else! There are loads of pure-bloods my age, why can't I just live my life and then get married. Me and Y/n Are enemies, we are never going to even be friends.

Y/n's Pov:

As I laid on my bed, I heard sudden thuds and then a big slam. The slam sounded like a door and I'm pretty sure that Draco had gone into rage, I wouldn't be surprised. I have to stay here another week and now me and Draco are going to hate eachother more and it is going to be very awkward.

Wait, what am I supposed to tell Mattheo? I can't break up with him, I love him! What am I supposed to tell Pansy and Millie as well, they will be wondering what our parents wanted to talk to us about. I personally do not want to tell the others that me and Draco have to get married but they are going to find out soon enough.

Actually, my parents don't control me! I can decide whether I want to get married or not! The only problem is that I cannot disobey my parents, they would kick me out. I just need this week to be over and done with!

I still cannot believe that this is happening!
