004- I Believe You

Second lesson was a free period, which I was glad about as I could think about what just happened. It hasn't even been 24 hours since I arrived at Hogwarts and I already have two secrets that I have to keep hidden. I'm usually good at keeping secrets as I keep many all the time but this time I'm helping people i dont particularly like. Don't get me wrong, Harry is an alright guy but I can't say the same for Malfoy. But I'm now technically helping Harry, which goes against my friends and family. As long as no one finds out, I'm in the clear.

I walked back to my dorm, trying to avoid Pansy as she saw me with Harry so she would obviously be wondering why I was with him. I entered my dorm and looked around to see if anyone was there. No one was there, not Millie or Pansy. They must have a lesson or they might be hanging around with Blaise and Draco. I decided to go find Mattheo as I hadn't seen him all morning but I wasn't so sure where he was. I walked to the Slytherin common room to see if he was there. He in fact was there but he was with Blaise, Draco, Pansy and Millie.

"Hey, Y/n. Where did you run off to?" Blaise asked as I walked towards them.

"Oh erm, I thought I forgot something in potions so I went to go check." I lied. It was pretty obvious that I was lying as I was trying to think of a believable excuse.

"Is that what really happened?" Draco asked. He was not convinced whatsoever.

"She told me that she had to go back to the potions class before she left us." Pansy backed me up. I smiled at Pansy and gave her a 'thank you' look as I was very relieved that she didn't throw me under the bus.

"Hey, I haven't seen you all morning." Mattheo stepped forward to me and gave me a hug.

"Yeah, I tried to find you." I smiled at him after we pulled out of the hug.

"I had Charms class and decided to get there early. I have that class with Millie." Mattheo explained.

"I'm in potions with Pansy, Blaise and Malfoy." I said.

"Still calling Draco by his last name?" Blaise pointed out.

"I don't mind it." Mattheo smirked.

"Well, of course you wouldn't." Blaise chuckled. Me and Draco have never called eachother by our first names, no one knows why. I sometimes call him by his first name when I'm with Pansy or Millie but not when anyone else is around.

"Can I borrow Y/n for a second?" Pansy asked Mattheo as he wrapped his arm around me.

"Why do you always come and steal my girlfriend?" Mattheo joked which made me laugh.

"Because Pansy is secretly in love with your girlfriend." Blaise joked which made Pansy roll her eyes.

"I'll be back." I told Mattheo as Pansy dragged me by my wrist. She pulled me all the way to the girls dorms.

"What did you need to talk about that was so important that you had to drag me all the way over here?" I asked her and folded my arms.

"What's going on with Potter?" She questioned me.

"Nothing." I sighed.

"Oh, so why did he randomly pull you to the side when you've never talked to him in your whole time at Hogwarts?" She snarled.

"He was asking me if I had seen Ron anywhere." I lied again.

"So, why did you take so long?" She wasn't convinced by anything I said.

"Why else would i be talking to Harry? I don't like him and I have no other reason to talk to him." I tried to seem convincing.

"I don't know but you can tell me what you two were talking about, it's not like I'm going to tell anyone." She said.
