Arranged Marriage

045- The Wedding

2 years later
It's been 2 years since we all left Hogwarts. I was now 20 and still with Draco. After the battle, we weren't allowed back at Hogwarts as it was completely destroyed. It was busy being rebuilt, but it would take many years to fully build it back up again.

Mine and Dracos parents basically disowned us after the battle so we had no where to live or stay. That was until Millie offered us a spare room in her home for us to stay in until we found our own place to live in. We did eventually find somewhere to live as my mother secretly gave me some money in a letter she sent. The money was a lot and it was enough to buy ourselves a bigger house.

Millie and Theo were still together and were still happy. Blaise and Pansy got together after the battle and they were still together. I always knew they would get together. Mattheo seemed to make a weird decision to date Daphne Greengrass even after everything that happened when me and him were dating. Nevertheless, at least he's happy. We all still met up and talked a lot but it was harder to see everyone a lot since we were all adults now, we were all busy with our lives. But we all managed to see eachother enough to catch up on what's been happened.  After the battle, me and my friends never heard anything from Harry Potter or his friends again. I know Ron and Hermione got together and Harry and Ginny were together but we all lost contact with them. Draco still wasn't too keen on him but he tolerated him more for saving our lives.

Mine and Dracos parents had arranged a marriage for us a couple years ago when we were 'enemies' and we were disgusted by the idea. But now that our parents wanted nothing to do with us, the wedding was assumed to be called off. But Draco decided he wanted to go through with it, he loved me and I loved him. I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him so we started planning a wedding. It took months to plan but we had the money and I started sending out wedding invitations, I wanted all my friends to be there. I invited; Blaise, Pansy, Millie, Mattheo, Harry, Hermione, Ron (and his family), Theo, Daphne (even tho i still held a grudge) and a few more people who were students but I wasn't extremely close to. We didn't have many guests but we both wanted a 'big' wedding. We just wanted it to be special.

The big day came after 6 months of planning and all my friends were so excited. Pansy and Millie took me on loads of shopping sprees to help find decorations and they came with me to try on dresses. I tried on a few dresses before i found the dress of my dreams. It was a white dress, no straps, sparkles at the front down to the top of my stomach, then a plain, long-flowing, poofy bottom which trailed behind me. I wore silver high heels and a tiara with a vail hanging from it. This dress was gorgeous, it even brought tears to Millie and Pansys eyes. It all felt so real now, I can't believe I was getting married!

It was the morning of the wedding and Millie and Pansy were helping me get ready. We were getting married in a big reception where many marriages happen. The scenery was already set and people were arriving soon.

"I still can't believe you're actually getting married to the one person you hated for basically your whole life." Pansy laughed. I can't believe it either.

"I still can't believe you're getting married! It felt like yesterday we were all in first year, talking about our futures." Millie said, tearing up.

"Oi, no crying is allowed today." I warned Millie jokingly. I think i was going to be the one to cry today. "I still can't believe Pansy is with Blaise." I joked.

"I don't know how he puts up with her." Millie said as her and I laughed. Millie had helped me with my makeup and hair, Pansy was helping put the dress on me. The back of the dress was like a corset, which to Pansy's acknowledge, she pulled it tighter after my comment making me gasp.

"I do have the control over how tight your dress is mind, don't make me suffocate you." She joked and we all started laughing. She was done helping me with my dress and I was finally ready. I looked at myself in the mirror and I was so shocked. Never would i have thought to be married so young AND to my worst enemy who was now my lover.
