Twins, Elliana and Brooklyn Miller each had distinct personalities. Elliana, or Ellie, was a quiet little artist who works as a curator in an upscale gallery in the centre of New York. While Brooklyn, Brooke or Brookie depending on how close you are with her, worked as an aspiring police officer alongside Casey Jones, who was also a skilled archer.
Two years after Shredder's attempted attack on the city, he was set to be transported to a new long-term facility. So when the offer of being part of the group that assisted in moving him was brought to her, Brooke practically begged to be allowed to join Casey on it.
But as the crew of officers drove along the highway, the Foot ambushed the van, attempting to free their leader. Pulling out her bow and arrows, Brooke prepared to fire a few arrows into their heads when suddenly what seemed to be a refurbished garbage truck appeared on the highway, apparently attempting to halt the Foot's breakout of Shredder. After losing not only Shredder but also Bebop and Rocksteady. Casey and Brooke decide to track them down alone, without the help of the police.
Meanwhile, after taking a wrong turn into an unfamiliar alleyway, Ellie happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time when suddenly a girl holding a canister of some purple liquid runs down into the alleyway that Ellie was walking down. And now not only is the girl being ambushed by all-black-wearing ninjas but so is Ellie.
That is until four large, mutant, turtles then jumped into the picture and unbeknownst to Ellie or Brooke, their lives would be forever changed by the turtles they meet in that alley.
