"Ron, are you mad? Fighting Draco?" Harry strains his voice from sounding too loudly as he lectures the boy who's laying on the hospital bed next to Y/N who's sound asleep. Hermione also looks worried from the bruises on Ron's face and body. "Being mad is one thing but your actions will do nothing to better Y/N's position." Harry voices his thoughts to the redhead.

Hermione tugs on Harry's arm, trying to calm the boy down. Ron looks defeated as is. His eyes are only staring across to Y/N's side profile. "Everyone's emotions are on a high Harry. Don't blame Ron." Hermione tries to be the voice of reason. Harry only tugs his arm back from Hermione in frustration.

"What were you doing in the forbidden forest with Hagrid for?" Ron changes the topic. His eyes flick up to Harry who looks suspicious now. "You know that area is off limits." Ron's voice is firm, his gaze serious on Harry. Harry averts his eyes away from Ron's looming gaze. He swallows the saliva that forms in his mouth, not answering Ron's question.

Seems as though everyone in the group is holding secrets from one another. There's an awkward heavy silence looming in the air. Not a single soul speaks up. Just a month back at Hogwarts and this is how things are panning out so far. Everyone's attention flicks towards the entrance of the hospital wing when they hear heavy footsteps approaching.

Harry and Hermione both turn around while Ron flicks his eyes towards the entrance. There stands Hagrid who's huffing and puffing. He wears a slight look of relief when he sees everyone there. "Blimey! What happen to you Ron?" Hagrid speaks loudly before Hermione and Harry raise a finger to their lips to hush the giant.

Hagrid looks over and notices Y/N sleeping. He gently bonks himself on the head for being inconsiderate. Hagrid then repeats himself in a loud whisper. "Did you take a terrible fall or something? You look completely battered up."

Ron casts his eyes down to the linen sheets on the bed he lays. Harry speaks up for him, telling Hagrid about Ron's great idea of fighting Draco. Hagrid wears a look of disapproval, a heavy sigh leaving the man's lips. With a shake to his head, Hagrid speaks up again. "The professors have been informed. Everyone will be receiving proper punishment." Hagrid drifts his eyes over to Y/N.

The man frowns and lowers his head. "Poor Y/N will have to be punished as well despite getting the worse end of the fight. She did have a way with landing a few punches on Pansy. I'm positive you and Draco will receive the same treatment as well. Word spreads quickly especially fights. I wouldn't put it past me that your little fiasco with Draco was told to them." Hagrid looks at Ron as he speaks.

Ron however hardly cares about his punishment. He's more taken aback that Y/N is forced into the punishment too. "Y/N too? Are they mad?" Ron sits up quickly but he regrets doing so when he feels a throbbing pain from his side. Hermione hurries over to lay the boy back down. Harry also looks upset by the news.

"But Hagrid. Y/N was innocent!" Harry has trouble keeping his voice down. Hagrid looks guilty but he raises both hands up. "I tried my best to reason with them but they don't want any favoritism. They'll proceed with the punishment once Y/N is able to walk again." Hagrid rambles out. The giant looks back over at Y/N with concern.

"What even is the punishment?" Ron questions with furrowed brows. "It must not be writing something over and over until our hand falls off. Otherwise they wouldn't need to wait for Y/N to properly walk again." Hagrid shyly scratches the side of his cheek. The giant nervously chuckles.

Ron, Hermione, and Harry don't like the kind of reaction coming from Hagrid. "You all will have to help me in the forbidden forest at night. I typically scope around the place to make sure everything is in order. But there may be an infestation of...spiders. Aragog may need to be taken care of."
