"Are you sure you didn't forget anything Ron?" You and Ginny both ask Ron the moment you all pile out of the Hogwarts Express. Ron groans and nods his head. He points at Harry who's behind him. "Harry double checked everything with me last night. I'm not missing any--". Ron pats himself all over, seemingly looking like he's forgotten something.
Both you and Ginny look at one another with a smile and a shake to the head. Ron then looks relieved when he finds whatever he forgot still in his pocket. "Alright, now I'm positive I have everything. Let's get going." Ron walks ahead, resting a hand on the small of your back to push you forward.
After having said your goodbyes to Luna, Hermione, and Neville, the four of you are in search of Fred or George to take you home to the Burrow. To everyone's surprise it's not one of the twins you see but Bill Weasley. One of Ron's many older brothers. Ginny and Ron are the first to run towards their brother into a hug. "Bill! What a surprise!" Ginny shouts happily with a grin from ear to ear.
"Where's Fleur?" Ron says as the three pull away from their embrace. "Back at the house helping mother prepare lunch for the four of you. We shouldn't make them wait." Bill tilts his head to the side to usher the group to follow him out. Before doing so Bill gives you and Harry a hug each.
"My siblings were no trouble, were they?" Bill ruffles yours and Harry's hair with affection. Harry shakes his head while patting his hair down. Ron scoffs and gingerly combs your hair out for you. You feel your heart skip at Ron's usual gesture of running his fingers through your hair. You're unsure if he realizes it himself but Ron does this often.
"Ginny is an angel. Ron on the other hand..." You joke. Bill chuckles when Ron protests. The group chatter lively while hopping into Bills car with their belongings stuffed into the trunk.

"We're home!" Ron, Ginny, and Bill both exclaim the moment they enter the Burrow. You and Harry both also chime in. "We're here too!" The both of you laugh as everyone takes off their coats. Thunderous footsteps emerge into the foyer.
The Weasley parents and yours embrace everyone. Mrs. Weasley then casts a spell on each luggage to be brought upstairs. Everyone shuffles into the small living room by the fireplace and seat themselves on the tiny couch and floors. Your parents hurry back into the kitchen to grab a tray of hot chocolate that they set down on the coffee table. Ron, Harry, and Bill sit on the couch while you and Ginny make yourselves comfortable on the floor in front of the coffee table.
Fleur, George, and Fred join the family in the living room. The twins seat at opposite ends of the coffee table on the floor while Bill makes room for Fleur to sit beside him. The parents grab chairs from the dining room to sit down in front of the fireplace. You always love the vibes here at Ron's home. Despite how small the place is, all that matters is the company you're with.
"It's nice to see you all back here in one shape." Mrs. Weasley says with a tight smile as she sips her hot chocolate. You and Ron stiffen from her words. Remembering clear as day of the howler message. Ginny purses her lips to muffle the laughter she chokes back. Harry does the same when he busies himself by drinking the warm beverage.
"What happened though? Mother didn't tell us much. Y/N you were fighting Pansy Parkinson and..." Fred furrows his brows forgetting the second name. "Lavender Brown!" George helps his twin brother. The twins rest their eyes on you, urging you to give them the details.
But Mr. Weasley bonks the two on the head with a newspaper that lies on the table. You snicker under your breath but keep your eyes down when you see the worried look in your parents eyes. The two wearing a frown. "I'm sorry mom, dad." You apologize to your parents. Ron rests a hand on your shoulder from behind.
