Part 19

Y/n POV:

I sit on the couch next to seungmin and Hyunjin in the make up room watching the news that's playing on the TV while others get their makeup or hair done by their stylist.

I play on my phone waiting for the wait to be over. Today the kids have an interview while they are in America and then tomorrow we will be flying to California for their next concert.

"Yah turn that up!" Hyunjin says to seungmin who  holds the remote in his hand. I watch as seungmin turns the TV up. I'm not really interested pulling my attention back to my phone as Lee know, Chan, Felix, and Han walk over to us sitting down in different seats. "That is right, two people were caught breaking into the Atlanta aquatic center. Though the suspects were not caught due to lack of quality from the video cameras." The news anchor says pulling in all of my attention.

I can't help but look up at the tv then back at Minho who looks at me right at the exact same time. A smirk forms on his face and I can't help but crack a smile trying so hard to not laugh.

Minho let's out a light chuckle and I can't help but laugh. "What are you two laughing about?" Hyunjin asks us. "Yeah this is very serious it was close to where we were staying we could have been put in danger!" Han scolds.

I think about last night and how we were so close to being caught it puts a knot into my stomach.

Last night:

3rd person POV:

The lights turn on and sirens are made causing y/n's and lee knows eyes to grow wide. "The police is here.." y/n tells him her face turning pale. Lee know looks at her then quickly scanning the room.

"We can't go back the way we came there is a chance that they are already coming from that way." She tells him tightening her sneakers as lee know tightens his. "This feels familiar" he jokes with a smirk.

"You weren't an idol then Minho." She says good smile disappearing. "Shit your right."

"So what do we do?!" She asks in a panic. "Just follow me" he says grabbing her hand. The both of them run to a door. Lee know pulls on it but it's locked not budging open at all. "Fuck" he curses under his breath frustrated.

Y/n feels through out her hair pulling out a hair pin. Y/n fiddles the hair pin in the lock. A few seconds go by and a click it heard the two both looking at each other with relief in their eyes.

Minho opens the door y/n sprinting down the hall and lee know quickly catching up. The door they just came from bursts open policemen running down the hall. Y/n and lee know both sprint as fast as they can turning a corner. They sprint down the hall making a left and a right then another left. They come to a stop meeting three separate halls.

Lee know grabs y/n's hand sprinting down the second hall after realizing that there was a fire escape sign a bit ways down catching his eye.

"Minho that leads to the main corridor." She says stopping. "Please y/n just trust me."  He begs holding her hand. Y/n looks in his eyes then at the hall then looking behind her. The fast running gets louder signaling the cops are getting closer.

She slightly nods her head and with no further hesitation he sprints hand in hand with her.

Y/n POV:

'Trust'  funny....the last time he asked me that question I never saw him again. The sentence brought my heart and mind into another place; the past.

The yelling and running from the police gets louder snapping me from my thoughts. Looking into his eyes I trust his word running with him.

He grabs my hand once again pulling me with him the both of us running down the hall. He opens a door that leads to a set of stairs going up four flights. I should have know this was a fire escape before.
