Chapter 7~ hopeless romantic?

When I woke up and looked at my phone screen it was 3pm which meant I had 6 hours till Noah will come and pick me up but till then I had nothing to do so I went downstairs to see what mom and Izzy were doing,

But when it went downstairs no one was there except him... my father

I don't know what to do, should I say good morning hi or I don't know what do kids say after not seeing their father for nearly 3-4 weeks, I know weird, we live together but still don't see each other

"hey'' I say quietly

"hi" he replied

"amm do you know were is mom and Lizzy?" I ask

"they went to shopping or something like that''

"okay" so I pour hot water in my cup and take my coffee with me in my room

Then I realized that Mia didn't knew where the car race would be held so I decided to text Noah

Me: hi Noah it's me Isabella, I just wanted to know where the care race will be held so Mia can come with us with her own car

Noah:Hiii bestie

I hope Mia will never find out that Noah called me his bestie or god knows what can happen, after chatting with Noah I decided to text Mia the address where the car race will be held so I did but she didn't respond right away, she's probably busy

Ughhh I think I'm about to do something that I never thought I would ever do on my free will

Clean my room

I sigh and start to clean the room.

After hours of folding everything, vacuuming, wiping the dust and finding things that I thought I would never see them again I WAS DONE

I checked the time and it was 8pm, I think I should probably get ready, I started to look around the clothes and decided to wear black baggy jeans and brown short top with sleeves

Should I wear a makeup... yea no I'm good

After few minutes I see massage from mia

Mia: Isabela I so sorry to tell you this last minute but I can't come my bother just came home and I can't just leave

Me: Yea sure, no problem

Mia: sorry again but if you really want me to come I will come up with an excuse and go with you

Me: Mia you rarely see your brother so stop worrying and spend time with him

Mias brother moved out few years ago, he's now 21 and in collage so it's rare for Mia to see him that's why I don't want to ruin their little reunion

My thoughts were interpreted by cars horning sound, so I texted Noah if it was him

Noah: about that, I couldn't come because I have to attend urgent matter but I promise I'll be at the car race
