chapter twenty-one

Charles POV

Her skin shines perfect in the sunlight. I know we should get up or we will be late but I want to enjoy the moment. She's sleeping so peaceful. 
I think about last night again. How she felt. How she looked. The way she looked at me.
I stop when she opens her eyes.

Amelias POV

"Good Morning sunshine", Charles says. His face is only a few inches away from mine and I can feel his warm breath against my skin. I thought last night was just a dream and that it was just my imagination but no. I really slept with him. Wow.
"Morning", I say smiling at him closing y eyes again.
"We could do this more often. I like seeing you wake up next to me". I can hear that he's smiling.
"You already did that two times", I say.
"I know but not like that.". He comes closer and plants a kiss on my neck right below my ear.
He throws his arms around me and pulls me closer.
We kiss. Again and again and again.
"As much as  I want to complete that. We both have to attend a meeting.", Charles says stopping the kiss.
I nod and get up. I make sure to grab the clothes form my floow very slow before getting a shower.
As water drops run down my spine I have to think about his touch again. So calming and yet so electrifying. I close my eyes and try to feel his handy on my body again.
"Amelia come on, we'll be late", Charles shouts tearing me out of my thoughts.
"Coming".
I quickly get out and get dressed.
I get out of the room first making sure that nobodys in the hallway.
I give him a quick sign with my hand to tell him it's safe.
We walk to the track together and talk.
Somehow I thought that it would be a little uncomfortable  between us but it's back to normal.
Of course we both know that it'll never be like before but still look at eachother in a good way.
"Hey where were you? You're too late. We were searching all over for you mate. I should have guessed that you were with her.", Carlos comes.
"I'm sorry but I have to take him from you. Important meeting."
"I know no problem.", I say.
I smile at eachother one last time before going different directions.

Charles POV

"So why are you smiling like that today? What happend?", Carlos asks me.
"Nothing why", I say. I have to think back to last night again and start smiling even more.
"Mate you're such a abd liar. Now tell me."
"Well I don't know If I can tell you that. I don't know if that's okay for her"
"What? Ohhhh don't say you two- you really had sex together. Now for real?"
"Man be quite. I don't want everyone to find out just now. She's not even my girlfriend yet."
"Yet?", he asks grinning.
"Well I uh you know-"
"Oh yes I know Charles I know", he says laughing now. "I'm not going to tell anybody don't worry mate. I'm really happy for you guys"
"Thank you". We hug.
"There you are? Come on we want to start", one of the team says.
We walk inside and the meeting starts.

Amelia POV

"Miss Thatcher? Is that okay for you?", someone asks.
To be honest I wasn't really prepared for someone to ask me a question.
"What? Sorry?", I ask snapping out of my thoughts.
"We just want your approval for the startegy for next sunday.", he says all eyes on me.
"Yes of course. I'm sorry."
"No problem"
I'm drifting off again when Max comes closer and whispers: "You have to tell me later".
Shit. I don't really want everyone to know about Charles and me just yet.
The rest of the meeting I'm thinking about what I'm going to tell Max.
The meeting is finished and I see him walking up to me from the corner of my eye.
"So Amelia tell me"
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"Come on I know how you're usually. Normally you're always very concentrated at meetings and very focused."
"I don't know what you're talking about Max"
He gives me the look.
"Okay okay you got me but don't tell anyone else"
"I would never Amelia you know that"
"Okay so last night me and Charles...", I say not telling him the last few words.
"No way. You and Leclerc? Like, You really fucked.", he sounds really surprised.
"Yes we did."
"And how was it. I mean you're first time having sex?"
"It was awesome. He-"
"Amelia I don't want to know everything. As much as I love you and Charles this is too much for me. You're still one of my best friends and so is Charles. But I'm so happy for you two Amelia", he says taking me into a hug.
"Now come on we have to pack and go home"
We stop hugging ans start walking out of the building. Outside we meet Charles and Carlos again.
"Hey you guys need a ride? You can get into my jet if you want to", he asks us.
We both agree and decide to meet again in an hour outside of Charles room.
I pack my things and get ready for the plane. I finish my outfit up with a pair of sunglasses and leave and take my luggage. I stop in the door frame and take one last look at the room. 
I smile and leave the room.

Charles POV

She looks really peacefull reading that book.
We're in the yet now and I'm sitting on the seat across from her. We haven't talked since this morning. Neither about last neight nor about us.
I want to talk to her about that so bad but I don't want to do that in front of Carlos and Max.
I continue watching her reading until I fall asleep. 

"Come on Charles. We just landed. Move your ass", Amelia says.
We get out of the chat and get to our cars. We drop Carlos off and Landos since Isa's there.
I feel the urge to tell her about my feelings but I can't.
It's not the right time just yet.
That's it, I will take her on a date tonight ans spend a wonderful evening with her and then tell her how I feel about her.

"Be ready at 8 tonight. I'm taking you out on a date. Don't dress to fancy we're not going to a restaurant. See you", I say to her as soon as I drop her off. She nods and walks into her appartment.
This is my chance.
