Erza and Usopp were conversing with Nojiko, who was telling them both about what was going on.
Nojiko: Ever since Arlong took over the village, we've been trying to stay alive.
Usopp: Still, doesn't it really bug you that your own sister is working with Arlong and his crew?
Erza: Nami ... she's a friend of ours. Though, I think she was only journeying with us to rip off anyone in o-
Nojiko: It's not what you really-
???: I know you did it!
Outside, Arlong was interrogating Cocoyashi's sherrif!

Genzo (Sherrif of Cocoyashi Village! He usually opposes Arlong!)
Genzo: And what are you going to do? Kill me?
Arlong: OF COURSE!!! HA!!!
But before that-
Usopp: SPECIAL ATTACK: EXPLODING STAR!!!
Usopp aims his slingshot and fires a exploding pellet at Arlong.
Arlong: AAARGH! WHO'S THE BASTARD WHO DID THAT?!
Usopp: CRAP!!! AGH!!!
Erza: Usopp, wait!
She runs after them.
Arlong: Huh?
He notices that no one is there.
Arlong: Now where did Genzo scurry off to?
Arlong then leaves...
Nami soon comes in, though the villagers all look down on her.
Nojiko: There you are, Sis.
Nami: Nojiko.
The two soon walk to a grave.
Nojiko: You really sure you're going to have enough to pay him off?
Nami: Of course. I'll free us from his reign. Besides, I'm sure if Bellemere was still here, she'd agree with me.
Meanwhile...
Usopp stops running, only to encounter more Fishmen.
Fishmen: HEY! It's the girl's long nosed friend!
Usopp: AAAGH!!
Erza: USOPP!!
She rushes in to save him, but-
She's bonked on the head.
Hachi: Sorry about that. I can't have anyone go defying Arlong. Especially since that Sword Guy got away. Looks like we'll just have to take him.
