How could I be so stupid? How could I do this to Emily? How could I hurt her like this?
    Oh yeah, that’s because I’m a horrible imprint and ruin everything. . . .
The way she wouldn’t even look at me when she bumped into my chest leaving. . . Killed me inside.
“What ya gonna do Seth?” Brady asked me sitting at the table, staring at Emily’s cereal which was now Paul’s. I paused. . . What am I gonna do? Emily hates my guts and I can’t do anything about it.
“What I think you should do is tell Emily about the vamp fight we’re going to in a few hours and say you may never come back” Colin asserted with his arm around my shoulder walking me to the living room. Thinking of all the possibilities of his idea, I shrugged him off and said, “I can’t do that to Emily. Do you have any idea how she would feel? It’d make her feel twice as horrible as she feels now”.  I sighed and fell back onto the little bouncy couch.
“Emily really has nerve to say that to you, I mean after everything you guys have been through. . . .” Paul commented putting the empty cereal bowl in the sink. I thought back to everything me and Emily did together. We talked about anything and everything, I saved her in the ocean, She helped me at my dad’s funeral, I helped her after her breakup, and I made a promise to her that I would always be there for her whenever she needed me. . . Which I broke.
“Forget about it though, you’re gonna need a clear head when we go to the fight.” Jared reminded me rummaging through Older Emily’s refrigerator. He was right, if I didn’t clear my mind of all this drama between me and Emily I won’t be able to fight well.
“Hey have you guys seen Emily?” Gigi interrupted my train of thought.
“Why do ya need her?” Embry asked sitting beside me on the couch.
“Cause I’m going to invite her to go to the mall with me and Gino” Gigi said with a smirk.
“Gigi don’t, Emily’s really upset. That would just make her feel worse.” I tried to knock some sense into her.
“Exactly!” Her eyes were filled with anticipation and excitement waiting to ask Emily.
    “Don’t, Emily wont like-”
“Emily wont like what?” Emily asked with a questioning look, walking in from the front hallway. I looked at her and received a cold hard look, I quickly looked down.
“That you wouldn’t like it if I don’t invite you” Gigi said, finishing my sentence.
“Invite me to what?” Emily asked looking from me to Gigi.
“Would you like to go to the mall with me and Gino? Then maybe see a movie?” Gigi asked hopeful so she could ruin Emily even more. She thought about it which surprised me. . . Why would she even contemplate something like that? She looked to me another second and I stared back, hoping she wouldn’t go and regret it.
“Yeah sure, I’ll go” Emily said without taking her gaze from me.
“Great, Why don’t we go to Gino’s right now” Gigi said halfway out of the back door. Emily quickly followed and I rushed up to her to get her attention.
“Wait Emily, I need to tell you something”
“What Seth?” I winced at the hate in her voice.
“I just wanted to tell you that-”
“No I don’t wanna hear it.” She was shutting the door.
“ I might never see you again!” I called desperately.
She froze and looked up with the door half open. I looked her in the eyes and mouthed a ‘please’. She came back to reality and gave me the worst possible stare and slammed the door in my face.
That was the last time I saw her. . . .
