Soon it was just me and Eddie left in the room.

"I'm gonna get some plates out," Eddie said moving to get some plates out. 

I nodded in response.

I could feel Venom buzzing around my head with excitement.

Eddie turned back around and set the plates down on the table before looking up at me.

"I have a question for you" he stated.

"Ask away" I motioned with my hands.

"Do you know Anne and Dan?" He asked.

I stiffened slightly, "What do you mean?" I asked in return.

"Well when they walked through the door you looked kinda panicked for a minute or two, and I didn't want to ask you about it when they were here just in case it was something you didn't want to say in front of them, but do you know them?" Eddie asked sitting across from me.

I looked down at my hands and started to pick at my nails as I talked. "Uh yeah, I knew them" I nodded still looking down.

"Wanna tell me how?" Eddie asked. I was sure I could have refused and he would have dropped the subject but some part of me wanted to say something.

So I did.

 "Well uh, they were best friends with my parents and all that, so when my parents died they kinda took me in and adopted me for a few years but when the whole Venom and Riot thing happened, they- uh they died so I was alone after all that bullshit. And I guess it was weird to see them alive again so I kinda froze up" I admitted looking up slightly to see eddies reaction. 

He looked shocked.

"I'm so sorry that happened. What happened next? If you want to say you don't have to" he added at the end.

I fully looked up at him, "Uh well I killed Drake but I had to run off since the cops were already on their way and I really couldn't be there, so long story short I got a lawyer, and we did lawyer stuff so I could do my own thing, became Venom with my friend being Spider-Man, and then a bunch of other hero shit" I gave another sloppy summary of my life.

"That sucks, so you're kinda on you're own now?" 

"Kinda yeah, but I got some friends and things to help out," I told him.

"Well that's one good thing I guess, and I'm sorry I didn't say who was actually coming over first. I guess it could have helped prepare you a little" Eddie said sheepishly.

"Probably. But I think overall it's somewhat nice to see them again..... even if they don't know me" I told him.

"I guess" Eddie shrugged.

"But I'm changing the subject now. Too many feelings for one day," I waved off.

"I understand"

"Thanks, and is Ms. Chen in this universe?" I asked tilting my head.
