Will Byers stood looking over the ruins of Castle Byers as the cold rain poured down onto him. He slowly let the baseball bat slip out of his grasp and land on the ground with a thud, though the noise was lost due to the crack of thunder and lightning above.

His mind was brought back when he heard the sound of branches breaking, one after another the branches snapped followed by a very audible thud. Despite the rain he could hear loud curses being shouted. After picking up the bat once again he wiped the tears and rain from his face and he made his way closer to the source of the noise with the bat held tightly in his grip.

Through the forest he could see the shape of a person making their way closer. They were using their hands to steady themselves as they walked, when Will got even closer he was able to fully hear the cursing that spilled out of their lips. The lips of a very familiar person.

Alex Brock was back once again.

"Will? Is that you?" Alex asked using a hand to shield herself from the heavy rain, "Why the fuck are you out in the rain? And why do you have a baseball bat? Mother fucker I think I fell through a tree" She cursed.

Alex was now only a few feet away when Will officially dropped the bat and ran up to meet her, he wrapped his arms around her in a tight hug. Alex was taken back slightly by the hug but wrapped her arms around him in return. "What happened? Are you ok?" She asked.

Will didn't respond as he held her closer. "Ok, how about we go inside. Is wet and cold out" Alex said, pulling away and starting to guide him to the entrance of his home. If Alex saw Castle Byers destroyed behind him she didn't mention it, though she knew all about the castle. Will had told her all about it when they were stuck inside the store.

Once inside the home Alex flipped her hair back and out of her eyes and rested her hands on Wills shoulder, "Is your mom home? Or Johnathan?" She asked.

Will shook his head, "I don't know where mom is and I think Johnathan's with Nancy '' he muttered.

"And your friends?" This time Will didn't answer, he just stayed quiet as he kept his gaze on the floor.

Alex looked at him concerned, "Any monster problems I need to know about or is this more... personal"

Will took a moment to respond but eventually there was a faint "Personal" that passed his lips. Alex softened up slightly as she spoke, "Go get changed, your soaked and I'll make some tea... or hot chocolate, or whatever I find" she said, pushing him closer to his own room.

Eventually Will listened and walked off to his room. Meanwhile Alex dug through the pantry and found a package of chocolate powder. She whipped up two quick mugs of hot chocolate just in time for Will to come out with another box in hand. "We made a box for you...it has new clothes and things you might need in case you ever came back" he said as he handed it to Alex.

"Thank you" Alex smiled as she took the box, "Hot chocolate?" She motioned at one of the mugs. Will grabbed onto one and took a large sip before nodding in approval.

Alex made her way into the bathroom and once again swapped into a new pair of clothes that was inside the box, the box contained two pairs of jeans, a tank top, t-shirt, socks, fresh underwear and a fresh bra, pair of boots, a belt, the leather jacket she had borrowed from Johnathan, a first aid kit, and a backpack. She discarded her clothes into a folded pile before slipping the new clothes on.

She walked out of the bathroom and sat the box down before making her way over to Will who was sitting on the couch. "So...you wanna talk or avoid it?" She asked.

Will paused before he spoke, "They're all stupid"

"Your friends?" Alex asked only to get a nod from him, "Dustin is MIA, Mike and Lucas only care about their stupid girlfriends, El and Max don't really care about them at the moment...it's all really stupid" He said before taking a sip of the drink.
